Aye, there are supporters that suffer from asthma, imagine the effect pyros have on them!
I am not against them, but they are banned, but I guess that's the appeal for some, to feel like rebels.

I can think of a million reasons not to have them but I can't think of a single reason for them.

I was sceptical when skysports mad such a big deal about this before kick off. Think they creamed their selves at the idea of getting the dig in (to be fair with that mug whyte on their books and the cringeworthy attention they give to sevco games and random docu style interviews in hospital beds and south African mansions, im really thinking they are a biased bunch, specially their Scottish part).

But regardless of that, there is no need for flares at football.
I quite like seeing them as a visual aspect, but they add * all to the game for anyone and are a hazard to folk around them.
We have been told to cut it out, fined and further punishment will come from this.

    So just stop it.

Its not exactly stopping you from attending games or anything.

If you take a flare to our games then you're a selfish *.

Only going to get our team in n trouble. Either don't do it or * off would be my message to the cretins who continually do this.

I can't believe how embarrassed and ashamed I was when I saw the "so called" Celtic fans letting off flares at the game yesterday.

They are a disgrace to the club and are tarnishing our good reputation.

    Was I *!

Flares in them self arent embarrassing.
The fact that we get continually haulled up for them is.
So why do folk Bother? We never get away with it and have been told countless times to cut it out. So who is doing it and what is their thinking?

    No, not at all.

"Rebel" as in; "a person who rises in opposition or armed resistance to a government" is obviously not what I was referring to.

I used rebel as in someone who rebels, who does something because it is banned/not allowed/bad. The supporters that set of pyros do so knowing they are banned/they can aggravate health problems of other supporters.

I was called a rebel as a youngster as I never did as I was told.

I hope I cleared that up for you.

Do ye think every time a mother says "oh ye wee rebel" to her child that she's referring to her child as part of the Republican movement? :smiley-laughing002:

Being branded sectarian by the police an media much more of an issue for me..

Republicanism is not sectarian or did I miss something?

    They are banned.

    Supporters that have asthma.

Supporters that have lung/chest conditions such a COPD.

    They can be dangerous.

A section of our supporters that are disabled have came out and appealed to supporters to stop the use of them.

Our own club has asked our support to stop using them.

The amount of supporters that don't want them and don't set them off.

Not quite a million, but I'd love to hear your reasons FOR them.
