Went it to the place on st vincent street for the first time yesterday, had a cheeseburger and it was fantastic, the cajun chips were amazing as well. The best part is the free drink refills, some of the drinks I didn't even know existed.

I'd be filling up 10 2L bottles to justify paying that.

Can't believe a fellow Irishman can't recognise the quality of a good spud.

I wonder if the quality is lower in Scotland than here. Wouldn't surprise me.

Most burger places are like this though the burgers are like 7 8 quid per burger your really just laying 7 quid for chips and a drink

I've only been to bread meets bread and butter meets bun people will sayd bread is better but out of the two BMB was the best burger I had tasted

The chips where also better at Burger meats bun I wasn't to kean on the ones at bread meets bread!

I have t tried this place but I'd rather just pay 8 9 quid for a burger and a juice than get a big Mac thrown in a box and given too you

    Overrated *.

You can all make your own burgers for 1/4 the price and with a much tastier end result.

Much like " The Grill On The Corner".

    * only go there to flash the cash and say " Ohhhhh waw I can spend £40 on my skinny burd's meal while she just nibbles on the end of a chip the whole way through"

    * commercialism.

    Choose McDonalds.

    :97:

Naw but seriously, it is the same with Pizza Express - just * make it yourselves ffs.

We are all good cooks with a half decent effort.

Aye you could make about 8-10 quarter pound Cheeseburgers with lettuce/tomato/onions or whatever for £10-12 at home or pay £8 there for 1. They must be raking it in, especially when you consider they will be buying the meat/veg/buns in bulk at cheaper than we'd get out a butchers/supermarket.

Havent been in five guys, dont think i'll bother to be honest after seeing those prices.

But i was in a wee burger bar on great western road called BRGR the other week, they do 2 for 1 tuesdays and other promos on other days. Meals ordered were spot on though.

Just had my first five guys (a bit late to the party :smiley-laughing002:)

Cheese burger with jalapenos, relish and cajun chips washed down with a dr pepper zero.

Not a bad munch, defoo filled a hole but for £13? meh I dunno.... it's well better than BK McD's but for that price is it better than a burger from TGI's? not sure.

One thing I will say though, what a * horrific place to sit and eat food! I kept having to ask the girl to repeat herself when I was ordering as the music was blasting that loud and then the super bright lighting was nauseating.

So for that reason alone I would rather eat in at all the above places.
