Cheers mate was worried I had to keep playing fut champs and then get the rewards at the end of the month.

 

Won’t be playing fut champs again. Near enough your whole weekend has to be dedicated to it if you want to complete the 40 games.

Squad battles can * off and all. Made sure that I played as many games I could this week and I finished in elite 2. Got 2 mega packs and the best players I got were Jovetic, Jesus Corona and Bernardeschi.

Waste of time once again. Haven’t got a single player from the squad battle packs so far that sells for over 1.5k.

 

The first month I hammered it every weekend and played the 40 games each time. Best I got was 26/40 wins. Was trying to get the Champions Monthly Rewards, best player I got was some German guy..and I can't even sell him. 40s far too much, I haven't played it since

 

40 is far too much. 20 or 30 would be a more sensible number.

I got 20 wins out of the 40 games but towards the end I was getting fed up and was just playing game after game to reach the 40 so I think I could have done better if I had breaks inbetween rather than game after game.

The packs I got from all the squad battles have been *. I will open these fut champ packs and see who I get but I am certain I won’t play squad battles or fut champs again.

I have 720k so don’t really need any more coins at the moment and I have a good serie a team, Celtic team and a cheap premier league team that I was using for squad battles.

Was thinking about getting Henrik but I’m not sure. I got a loan icons pack and have him for 7 games but I don’t know if he is worth the coins.

 

I feel the same with squad battles, far too much time to invest for little reward.

 

I will be sticking to the squad builder challenges from now on. Much less time consuming and I have got some good players from them in the past. Got scream Sturridge (50k), Vardy (25k), Van Dijk (20k). Also got Matuidi who I could have sold for 55k at the time but I decided to keep him for my serie a squad.

 

A lot of chat about the AI defending being improved for weaker players. Would explain a lot. Sick getting beat on the counter time and time again!!!!!

 

Had a mini heart attack earlier when I packed IF Thauvin I swear it took an hour to show the Marseille badge was sure I’d gotten Mbappe

 

Same happened with me, about an hour after I sold my OTW

 

Is the Turkish league, Portuguese and Mexican sbcs worth it? Thinking about doing it because you get packs for each team you complete and then a special player and 20k+ for completing the entire league.

Anyone got anyone decent in those packs?

 

The Russian league cost me 100k to do. The rest I broke even on more or less.

I'd recommend waiting have until black Friday as player prices are a bit hectic atm with the 81 plus upgrade sbc that's on.

Mexican and Portuguese league are in marquee match ups atm so that will drive the prices up.

If you're definitely going to do them probably be best buying the dynamo moscow team soon as I can see Lev Yashin getting a a icon SBC soon and as they're the only club he played for I'd see the prices rising.

Didn't get a single 83+ rated player in my weekend league rewards for gold 2.

Gold 3 was way better for rewards.

 

Wl isn't worth the time and stress for the * rewards you get. They look good, but I've very rarely seen anyone get anything of note out them.

 

Had a perfect example of money beating skill.

Matched against a guy with icons, pogba, jesus, chiellini the lot and played him off the * park, he couldn't get near me he was so easy to pass through and went 3 - 0 up but of course as the game goes on his cash steps up and literally anything that dropped to him he scored and ended up losing.

Played people with much worse teams that have completely nullified my passing game but I swear the only reason this guy won was because he had spent real life cash to win.

 

Aye I'd agree wae that.

Why would EA give a * about folk who don't spend money? Keep the wee dicks happy and they'll keep spending, allow them to get pumped and they'll give up no doubt!

 

Unlucky mate, nothing worse when you have put in so much effort and time into getting a decent finish in the hope you will get some worth while awards, but end up getting * all.

Think I finished in gold 3, got 20 wins. I got Pepe and Path to glory Wagner. Pepe goes for about 17k and Wagner goes for about 13k.

They were the two worth mentioning, the rest were pretty underwhelming as usual.

Was buzzing when I saw the path to glory player pop up, Wagner must be one of the cheapest guys in it though

I will take 13k for him though, most of the other packs I haven’t even managed to get 1k for the best player in the pack which is ridiculous.

 

Yeah it's a kick in the balls but it all adds up for the monthlies so not too discouraging.The coins went towards a squad upgrade anyway so I got something out of it.



Sold Ibra today after 43 games he had 24 goals and 20 assists from CAM. Wasn't liking Rui Costa as a striker though so moved him down to CAM and got Gabriel Jesus. I'm still annoyed at 55k for a 81 rated player but he's been decent so far.

If Quincy Promes was a striker I'd build my whole team around him. Only use him as a sub and he has 101 goals 75 assists in 200 games.
