Just started FUT today on xbox, and finding it hard as *. Not usually one to beg, but if anyone has any coins/good players they're not using or don't need, could I have them? I would be eternally grateful!

 

I know this is pretty obvious, so dont slag my * advice but what I do is. Play 2/3 games (online, you get more points) and get about a thousand coins. Buy a decent/good player on a bargain, like I got Klose for under 2k, Hummels for the same price. Keep doing this until you have maybe 5 good players. Then play 5 gamesish and once you get to 3-4k spend it all on contracts, and then build up again buying better players in other positions. Then gradually get better and better players in each position until you have a good team and you can then sell the players you dont use.

 

I was 108th in the world at Ultimate Team in 09. I know how to play :icon_mrgreen:
But its hard to start this late because everyone else has had a head start.

it's not difficult mate, just try get the best chemistry possible with your first team, decide what team you want to make then buy the cheap players in that league, here's some cheap teams you can make to start off:

Sturridge - Bent

Cheers mate this will help me aswell. In h2h you win points and go up divisions to try and win the first division title as you will know. But how does FUT work? Do you win games and get points? Or money to buy player etc?

 

You get coins for playing games. A goal will be worth a certain amount of points, as will a shot on target, or winning a corner. Conceding goals or fouls will lose you points.

You also have contracts, which you need to buy with coins and you need to buy fitness cards etc.

 

You get coins after every game you play, even if you lose. The coins you win depend on how many goals you score, how much possession you have, how many fouls you concede etc etc. You can play a normal online match against someone or you can play tournaments where you get coins for winning the tournament on top of the coins you get for playing games. I'm not very good at explaining stuff so i'll let this video do it for you:

Don't know about in this one mate, but in 11 I remember there was a serious handicap which made teams with low chemistry alot sharper etc than 100 chem. Completely ruined FUT11 for me. Think they've fixed it now but.

another thing, and this may sound pretty obvious but lots of people fall for it, there is NO SUCH THING as someone that can "duplicate" your cards so dont fall for someone messaging you saying they can
