not been in this thread since the game yesterday, come in it and see some people wanting the manager out lol.

it would be acceptable wanting a player out for bad performances, but a manager who has been the most successful manager since jock stein ?

Glad to see we are all in a positive and unified frame of mind going into the next season.

Just to remind us all why WGS and the current team deserve our backing here are a few of my favourite highlights of last year:

-Skippy scoring right at the death against Milan
-Big Jan heading in against the huns to keep the race alive
-the penalty shoot out to get into the CL group stage
-McGeady's double drag back versus Aberdeen
-Donati's goal against Shaktar
-gong ahead twice against Barcelona
-seeing the helicopter arriving above Tannadice with the league trophy
-WGS's mug of tea

For a * manager with a * team that play * football we did no too bad.

 

this is a joke, cant believe how some people are taking a pop at WGS and the board, yes we were poor,but we got beat by a team that will probably finnish in the top5/6 of the epl, but get a grip they have done a great job lowered the age of the team slashed the debt and more importantly won 3 in a row and got to the last 16 of the CL martin didnt do that and look at the cash and wages he spent.
Season hasnt even started and people are telling him to get to *, what an embarresment

 

cant believe henke 67 has been banned. Hes got more sense than about 10 of the strangely celtic loathing new guys put together.

Hneke is right about certain people anyway. The way you lot act are terrible. And i can assume those people don't go to CP to watch the team as i never hear anyway speak about the team the way you do. Yes people bad mouth the team, but you's are taking to far. If the team is so bad why support them? They don't need people like you.

And two people inparticular didn't comment in the Porto thread after we WON the game? Why is that.

ffs come on!! I cant even believe some people are gettin * off cos we lost a PRE SEASON FRIENDLY to a team who prbably will do really well in the EPL next year...

When you look at how much both the teams have spent on players this summer, you might see why they are doing well..

thats 53 million!! compared to our 500k for paddy mccourt who didnt even play against spurs!

Aside from transfer money, we weren't that bad, we lost 2-0 - one of the goals was a terrible backpass from paul hartley ( had nothing to do with the team performance being poor)
And the other goal was after we had taken off players like JVOH, Robson, McManus, Hartley and Wilson and brought on players like Naylor and Donati ... Had it been an important game we wouldnt hav taken off half the team...

Feyenoord tonight, how do you's see it going? i fancy a win here tbh but i don't think the game will be too pretty. we lack down the right hand side when naka's not here. we don't have mccourt fit even to swap aiden over to the right
