You walk around with your eyes shut and your ears blocked when they're about?

Watched the clip on Dutch TV when he went public with the news and felt heart sorry for him in all honesty.

37 years old and condemned to death by the tool he honed to make a living, his body. Very, very harsh.

I watch that show every now and then (It's on every working day), but glad I missed it. Not about to find a clip either. Hate watching emotional stuff like that. :52:

Must have missed them singing, to a man, the song about Tommy and Scott Brown's sister at Parkhead for the last 2 or 3 years of there existence? Scum. * scum.

Agreed Hammer, said it earlier on, must be even harder on footballers stuff like this. Something they honed every day of there life to be as good as it could possibly and they lose control of it. Must be heartbreaking, young family as well.

I've been to pretty much every derby game at Celtic Park in the last few years and I can honestly say I've not heard a song like that. Maybe, I'm mistaken and I couldn't make it out though.

Must be, it was a favourite of theres for a while there. The "Shame Game" and the last one ever probably being the worst of it.

I'm pretty sure they're singing it in that video where they are smashing up the toilets if you wanna familiarise yourself with it.

    * that..

As I said didn't like the man or player one bit and it's mixed feelings of don't give a * to feeling sorry for him and ultimately that overrides the negative in me always..

And yes that is what makes us different to them..

The mere fact they even sing songs about tommy burns disgusts me when infact he was a gentleman on and off the park yet the massive majority of us will show our sympathy for a guy who was a total * on and off the park for years..

If the shoe was on the other foot they would not be respectful in the slightest..

Was genuinely shocked that yesterday's Sun headline wasn't "Fernando Sicksen".

A quote from Absolute Power: "4 word headline, that's like War and Peace to Sun readers".

I agree that your opinion on a person shouldn't change purely because of things like this happening. I won't lie, I absolutely hated Ricksen as a player, so my opinion will never change on that front. However, watching his interview, I felt deeply sorry for him. To watch a man struggling to even speak, due to illness is horrible to watch. He has not long become a father, and no child should have to grow up without a father in their life. And unfortunately, there is a strong possibility that could be the case.

    All the best Fernando Ricksen.

Aye because we have never sang sings about any of there players eh. ? Cooper ? Anyways I couldn't care less what they sing it wasn't ricksen who was singing the songs. I haven't personally met the guy so I don't know what he's like. What I do know is I wouldn't wish that sort of stuff on anyone. Even if I didn't like them

Aye because 3000 odd of us belted out they songs at Ibrox didn't we? Big difference between a few arseholes and that.

And nobody is saying any different.

Don't see why you see the need to stick up for them singing that though but frel free

    Bollocks.

And if you can point out when anybody said they were blaming him? No one has.
