Not sure what team will line out(covid)and that will have a massive say in how this goes.

Our options may be limited, but on a positive note maybe a different line up(paddy, turnbell, laxiat Griff) may shake things up.
We havent been great lately and maybe a forced change may be a good thing.

like it or not hun are doing well(for them) and and their defence seems solid,i think they will give us a good test and think the game will end in a draw.

    Honestly very very nervous.

Alot us being made of how "good" sevco actually are so early in the season but for me it's groundhog Day *.

I'm more nervous about US than them. We have a far better side. Easily. Anything other than a decent win will be a massive failure imo.

However, make no mistake, this is NOT a home game. This is a derby in what might as well be a neutral venue. Couple into that our sluggish start to the season, and how they appear to be buying into their own hype then this fixture had banana skin all over it.

This will be a real test of character for this side.

As long as we put in a good account of ourselves, im hoping we get what we deserve.
No matter the score, they will drop points again through the usual cannon fodder.

    Very very confident.

We have been poor thus far by our own standards, they have been alright, nothing more.
It's a fallacy to think they are some great outfit now, what have they actually done that if they hadn't done they would have been demanding that scouse * head for.

On Saturday we will turn up, normal order will be resumed and I will collapse at the end of the game in an orgasmic fusion of euphoria, alcohol exuberance and sexual satisfaction and smugly enjoy the rest of my weekend.

    3-0 to the good guys.

Just looking at the good defence they've been cheered for.
Last five games (since they conceded against Hibs) they've only had 2 clean sheets out of 5 and conceded 4 goals in those 5 games.

Respectively in the last 5 games we have had 4 clean sheets out of 5 and conceded just 2 goals in those games.

Over the course of the whole season,
Rangers conceded 4 in 13 games with 10 clean sheets.
Celtic conceded 7 in 13 games with clean sheets.

Not a massive difference, and when we do admit they had a good start compared to ours, the more recent form shows we are actually defensively more sound.

A backline which has barely been settled til recently would do that.
On their side, they seem to have crumbled as soon as they lost that clean sheet run.

I will be a lot more confident if we go 352 properly with two strikers and Diego at left wing back.
Brown will need to be on his game and we can't be shy to hook him off if he is being targeted by them, and not on form.

Their stats are altered by the fact that Motherwell should've had 2 penalties - not given, Ross County 1 penalty - not given, Hibs - 1 penalty not given.

If we can isolate Goldson and Helander and have the likes of Frimpong, Griff, Eddie, Kilmala, McGregor running at them then we'll get joy.

Yeah got to agree with all of that.
Specially with our attack, I think the two attacking wingbacks and two up top will show that defence up for what it is.

If we do that, it'll take an unheard of amount of Hun ref shittery to stop us from scoring goals.

I was wavering between thinking they’d beat us or maybe we scrape a draw. But the closer it gets I reckon we’ll smash them.

We’ll be something of an unknown quantity with a few players out and the others who’ll maybe get a chance will be itching to prove themselves here. No pressure from 60,000 either.

    3-1 to the good guys.

Simple fact is if we play like we have been this season we will lose. We haven't been anywhere near good enough.

If the players play to their ability we will win. I'm just not that confident it will happen.

i think if we win this sevco wont recover ,i dont even want to see us going gung-ho as that would play right into their hands ,they aint good enough to play through us,just need to sit back and wait for the space to appear

Not nervous in the slightest, we have the squad depth for this exact reason, others can drop in.
As long as we play 3 at the back and use 2 strikers up top, not Ely, then I'm convinced we're taking 3 or 4 off them.

I know we haven’t started that well this season but we keep winning and for the big games the players always turn up.

My only worry is having no fans in the stadium, it creates an unknown as it usually gives the home team an advantage in the derbies.

One thing I know for sure is Lenny will have the team fired up for it.

Similar thoughts as yourself , although I dont see us smash them but the way the choice of player for us has altered , lenny is just the guy to fire up the ones who can play and get more from them , I could see us come through with a result wer before I was hoping for a draw .

Nervous, but even when we spanked them often i was still nervous even though I knew we would win.

We have enough to win without the key players out.

As pointed out its like a neutral venue so its more like a semi final type feeling.

Just win...any win will do. Sick of hearing 0-5 0-6 all week and them not accepting us having half a team as we have a big squad so were almost full strength and they have loads of players out too apparently.

if they cant beat us on saturday they would be aswell chucking it

keep hearing this and it didn’t help last season, also keep hearing how lucky the huns are in europe. Our defence seems solid and we’ve far better forwards so here’s to battering the hun scum, be weird not going to the game or the Irish centre to watch among our own people BUT * the huns, we are Celtic
