So,should we just be surrender monkeys.
We are not fantastic, but have players who can damage any team.
The manager is learning with every game,
You speak like someone whose balls have just dropped.
Get behind the team or get to *

Commons doesnt have the pace to hit Salzburg on the counter which will most likely be our only threat of goals on Thursday however the chances that he would create will no doubt be missed

    Squad that played Malmo
    31 P. Gulácsi
    6 C. Schwegler
    36 M. Hinteregger
    5 André Ramalho
    13 S. Ilsanker
    24 C. Leitgeb Substituted 58'
    44 K. Kampl 63'
    8 N. Keïta Substituted 31'
    26 Soriano
    27 Alan
    77 M. Bruno
    Squad defeated by Wolfsberger today
    33 A. Walke
    6 C. Schwegler
    4 P. Ankersen
    36 M. Hinteregger 77'
    5 André Ramalho Substituted 65'
    13 S. Ilsanker Substituted
    24 C. Leitgeb
    44 K. Kampl
    26 Soriano
    27 Alan Substituted 45+2'
    7 M. Sabitzer

as you can see only 2 changes between the two teams, one a believe down to injury. if anything is going to give us confidence going into this match it is that Salzburg are defeated in their last 3 and their team today was beaten 1-0 against 10 men for most of the match

the austrian league must be better than ours as the only team in scotland that gets coeffcient points is celtic and austria has 22.925 and scotland has 16.150

that means that they have at least one other team getting results in european competitions, so there league is better than ours

or just the fact that salzburg won every game in the group stages last year and have went to a decent stage fairly consistently for the past while

Rapid Vienna likely picked up a fair few points in years gone by before Salzburg just started mincing everything in sight in Austria. Plus Salzburg had a great Europa League campaign last season before being put out by Basel, they tanked Ajax 6-1 on aggregate I think and waltzed through their group.

Rapid have now went to the dogs themselves, outside of Salzburg, it's a pretty pish league.

well just last season for example

austria wien champion league group stage

salzburg and rapid vienna in europa league

that means they are at least beating there way past the qualifiers which our clubs in scotland bar us arent able to do

point made i think, their league is better than ours

no point in saying other wise when it's obvious

I thought it went back 5 but fair enough, I was only stating that Rapid may have picked up points in those 5 years, certainly more than what any other Scottish side would have. They've been in the Europe League group stages, that already is more than anyone outside of Celtic.

This game not on Celtic TV?:31:
Is that because of UEFA rights or something?
Any dodgy streams showing it then?

Good point about Commons. Will be interesting to see if Deila plays him.

Just checked CelticTV, amazed to see it's not on their list of upcoming broadcasts.

Fox Sports 2 is showing the game live in the US.

Read on Twitter that it's on Setanta Sport and BT Sport.

Plenty of coverage, should be plenty of streams.
