It doesn't matter. If they're going out and signing guys for the same kind of figures as us then it shows the difference in scouting between us. The fact we went out and spent £1.5m on Jack Hendry is depressing, when we could have looked further afield and signed somebody that actually knows how to defend.

I don't doubt there wage bill will be a decent bit bigger but that wouldn't matter if we got to guys before teams that spend daft money on wages.

missed the first 30 minutes , saw the last 15 of the first half and the first 15 of the second , went 2-1 down so fekked off through the room to watch tv ….. kinda where I am just now with celtic .. never thought I would be so low with them and ive been through some bad times before .

You've missed my point. If we sign these guys before teams like this are in about them we don't need to be big wages. I don't know where they're signing them all from but would have a guess at smaller teams that pay wages far below what we do.

I don't get the last part of your post. Do these teams all owned by Red Bull just shift players back and forward to shaft fair play rules or something ?

your right but because of bad signings we have simunovic gamboa marvin compper who are not reckoned to be good enough but at the same time the board dont want to buy others because these guys value will depreciate

its the same with other areas of the team we have such a bloated squad full of players that arent good enough or havent been given a chance (why sign them then ? )

 

Fair enough. You're right there. I agree our scouting is *. Originally I was responding to the idea that we shouldn't be getting beat by them as they only 'spent' a whatever million on that team and that, that was the 'worrying' thing.

At the end of the day we know we are up against a team with more skilful players but how many times did a Celtic player pass the ball straight to a Salzburg player, a professional football player should be able to pass a 20 yard ball to a team mate

Lustigs been a great servant to Celtic, gave us some right good memories Huns 5-1 goal being the main one but anyone that doesn’t think he’s a liability at the back now for us is kidding themselves on
