In the 80s i bought all the trainers, Adidas kick, mamba. bamba ,samba etc also loved puma trainers.
In the 90s i bought the nike air trainers some were over 100 quid a pair,

Ive got a mini collection of expensive adidas trainers that I hardly ever wear because I don't want them to get wrecked, massive waste of money when I think about it but I love them :icon_mrgreen:

Just love the con look :icon_mrgreen: got about 5 pairs not saying thats alot i just mean a nice selection. I made/bought my girlfriend a customized pair of their website. I'm going to make my own pair soon. Got a few pairs of Adidas origonals - the hightops and normal shape.

No contest. Have been wearing Converse Chuck Taylor gymboots for the past 25 years. When one pair got worn out, just got replaced. That said, about 3 years ago I bought a pair of the shoes instead of the boots in the same style...

Just when you said mentioned feeling like a million dollars with them on i pictured these;
Got them for christmas when i was 7/8. Just have this amazing image in my mind of walking up my grans crystal(due to the ice) path way at night and it brings a smile to my face. Felt on top of the world with them. Pretty sad lol.
Would never wear anything that rediculous now right enough.
