In terms of our European opponents the odd time you come across a club that is just class with the fans to match but I suppose I'll keep this general and not just about us.
Against us I have to say as a club and the fans that follow them youll be hard pressed to come across sounder people than Borussia Mönchengladbach! I went to Dusseldorf and gladbach for the away match and the people are just deadly! drink, sing, shout etc they were the best set of fans I'd come across in ages and got to the point I look out for them now, must try a home match at some stage.
I was in Croatia for the semi and final and my jaysus the effect it had on me will stay forever, the night they beat England in Zadar sqaure is something I'll remember till the day I die!
Dancing round till the early hours in pure ecstasy that they had reached the final, was genuinely a feeling akin to when we beat Barca.

I agree with you @CASTLE about the Gladbach fans, spent a couple of hours in Merchant Sq with them and they were brilliant.

The atmosphere at the fanzone at Merchant Square before the win over Barcelona at Celtic Park in 2012 was incredible. Both sets of supporters got on well, and we had a wee sing-song back and forth.
St Pauli v Celtic at the Millerntor-Stadion in 2014 shades it for me though. It was just one great big party from start to finish. No one was bothered about the result; it was hard to tell who supported which club actually. :giggle1:
Some Paris Saint-Germain supporters came up to the unofficial fanzone on Boulevard de Clichy to party with us before the game at the Parc des Princes last season. I have met my fair share of glory hunters though, and they can be quite arrogant.Callum McGregor likes this. -
The Legia Warsaw fans were pretty intimidating when we played them at Murrayfield in 2014.
I can only imagine what they would be like now.

Went into the Iron Horse on West Nile street for a few beers before Bayern game. Place was rammed with Bayern and we were the only Celts in there. Wife, son and me. Size of a lot of the * was scary and their Ultras got up and made space to free a table for us. Waitress came up and set a massive Cod and chips dinner down we didn’t order. She said we look after hoops in here. But Germans were very nice.
