F*ck UEFA Banner...

agree with them or not facts are the timing was stupid as was what it said. we were on here yesterday saying silly little point about the ra but easy to fix and we move on but this just keeps the spotlight on us. Grow up and sing for the team

personally its not up to the fans to run the bussiness we are there to support the team that is all we dont vote for the "Celtic FC party" (mores the pity)

What would we be saying if it was Rangers fans with that banner. They are no better than them.

Looking at the Green Brigade on match days all I see is bunch of neds and used-to-be jakes. Ask yourself if you are associated with these lads. Is it really worth getting a life time ban from Celtic games? Of course not. The banner was in very bad taste. Very poor. I'd have much prefered a banner with some banter on it. Not that.

 

Yes it's a very poor and pointless banner, but it WILL not get us into any bother so if that's how some fans wish to vent their Opinion then let them be.

 

They're not Celtic fans and yet they spend thousands of pounds a year following Celtic all over the world......

Huns would have went there and trashed the place. Much more severe than one single banner. Then again I'm sure you knew that anyway.

The best thing to happen at Celtic in years are being dismissed as neds and jakes.

So far from this thread we have seen people proclaim that these folk aren't proper fans in spite of the fact they've just travelled a large distance and spent a fair whack of cash on their team and shall be there again on Sunday when half the ones on here from Glasgow can't be arsed to make the trip to an away game up the road. Apparently they are the ones who sing 'up the ra'. Apparently it's the Green Brigade again, despite the fact that they don't actually travel as a full section to European games. Apparently it was shockingly offensive!

Honestly, it said '* Uefa' - it is no different to those on here wo have, undoubtedly, indulged in the '* the SFA' chant. Man the * up.

Disappointed to see the banner. Personally I think UEFA were well within their rights to fine us. They've officially recognised that – unlike Rangers charges – our chants weren't discriminatory, only political. However, political chants aren't allowed, so clearly we were going to get censured.

I love the atmosphere the Green Brigade bring to Celtic Park, but banners like last last nights are pointless, embarrassing and potentially damaging to the club.

 

I'm not bothered really I only care about the football but I'm a bit worried about how * the banner was. "* UEFA" is childish and makes us look daft. Surely something more elaborate could have been made as has been in the last few years.

 

Ok maybe some comments are over the top but if these guys (and I'm not pointing fingers here) are such good fans why are they doing things like this when they know that it will reflect badly on our club? We've had a good relationship with UEFA up until now and are known throughout the world for our good natured fanbase........doing things like this is destructive and ill thought out and the world is now getting to see the ugly side of some who supposedly support the club.

 

I hope they give all those dafties a lifetime ban from Celtic Park. They should go join the orcs from across the city, because they are just as bad. Yes i'm talking about those who made that banner and the up the RA crew.

You ruin ALL the hard work TRUE Celtic fans have done over the years building up a great reputation across Europe. All this "they no gonnae fine us" pish is unreal. It's not the fine, it's the intent, its the image of the club YOU put money into. You make the club look bad and tarnish their name.

Half of u wee idiots are gonna run back home whilst the club is left to pick up the mess you create.

We should be applauding our teams efforts last night yet this takes the limelight.
