Ive tried to read every post in here......but i was blurring out in a few of them. However, is it too late to have some kind of poll in here regarding the banner? We are all falling out over this and getting sidetracked etc, so maybe if we could view the numbers as to who opposes what, we could chill out a bit!

The tosspots at UEFA only fined Celtic, but not the other clubs who glorified separatist movements. So, for the lack of a principle, * UEFA.

Totally agree, it makes me sad that so many sad little people actually sit amongst our support moaning about everything! I think that they should sit in a separate part of the stadium and call themselves the love lawwell brigade.

I don't think it was the best course of action for this issue to be honest...

I'm not going to bother reading through the last 30 pages of this to see the difference in opinion, but I still don't agree with the banner. I think the issue should have been put to bed after we were fined and the banner has served no purpose, except to make our travelling support look like a bunch of eejits.

For the record, I'm not saying our travelling support are eejits, but this is the way in which the media will portray us and it really puts a dampener on the reputation of the club overall.

I have no doubt the majority on here disagree with the banner, and dislike the Irish Republican movement and would rather we Republicans shuffled away never to be seen again......however......We don't care about the "majority", if it is a majority. This is not a matter of democracy thank *....this is about upholding the traditions of the Club and fighting those who attack them either internally or externally.

We will never give way to those who wish to turn Celtic into an obscure Scottish football club......without our culture and tradition, this is eventually what we will become. We are not just a sporting club, we are a way of life, an Institution which has supported the people of Ireland in their fight for freedom for over 100 years.

    No Surrender!

    100% mate. :50:

We do not share the same levels of hate as our noisy neighbours, but we certainly have our share of pigheadedness. We are better than that.

So the problem with last night was, Firstly a flare was let off in the ground. So UEFA deems this punishable, meanwhile in Italy on a game by game basis these flares are let off and many other countries. * me what next no streamers incase somebody slips on one which has landed on the stairs.

To punish ANY club for this reason is pathetic.

Next up a banner which was in protest against the organisation which in just about every aspect is full of people who are guilty of fraudulent behaviour at almost every turn. Yet they get upset with a wee banner. The Respect theme this mob run should be more applied within UEFA itself rather than trying to gathering money from clubs because some people don`t agree with everything they say.

ANY club who are fined for a the personal opinion of some fans in this context is pathetic.

    The sanitisation of Football continues.
