F*ck UEFA Banner...

Not everyone applauded the GB that day, they * me of when other fans including myself started any songs and they gave it Shoooooooooooo. I don't tell they to shut it when they sing something i don't agree with. They have done this the few times that they have had a silent protest.

this is it for me. All it does is just carry on the cycle of hatred, and I don't want a part of that. I don't want the atmosphere taken out of games, I don't stand against the GB, but anyone that claims our support are angels and everything we do is right and just are lying.

 

Nobody is asking anybody to 'shut up'. Just chant the dozens of other songs we have. It doesn't make you cool to chant about the IRA.

I'm sorry, but this has been spoken about plenty times in the past, here and in the pub for my part, this wasn't a knee * reaction to Lawell speaking. It's a reaction to the club being fined, in some people's opinions, mine included, justifiably.

 

Cant believe we are getting our knickers in a twist over a banner that says * UEFA, its a legitimate if not very creative response by some supporters to UEFAs fine.Lets face it when a body or person offends us a lot of us tend to react by using this words ie * the SFA, * the Ref, * Rngers and * any number of managers players and fans of other clubs.
Its amazing however how some on here are responding to the media agenda, remember the argument put up during the songs debate and the debate over the new anti fan legislation if they get away with this, what will they ban next? already we have no drinking, no smoking, no singing illicit or political songs, no flares, so now its no swearing on banners,no criticising corporate organisations, yes just dont sing anything at all keep quiet and be careful when your clapping but keep on giving us your money.
If you dont stand up and shout about wrongdoing the people who are doing it to you will keep on doing it you, until there is nothing left of you. Supporting Celtic is more than just football and is a part of what and who we are but more importantly Celtic is us and not the PLC, who seem all to ready to sell us down the river in their corporate greed.
Its just ludicrous to equate that banner, even in the current context,to shameful and disgarceful acts committed by supporters of other clubs, so get of your knees and be prepared to fight for the right to support your team the way it should be supported, with passion, belief and song or two and maybe even a banner or two.

If you dont want the atmosphere taken out of games then what are you doing about it?

People are sitting on their arses too worried about moaning about other fans that the Government are criminalising songs and telling supporters they are not allowed to stand, laterally move, swear or wave flags "aggressively" inside Stadia.

They cant do us for flares as they're not against Uefa rules or Italian football laws. The banner is * all. They're corrupt * same as fifa, sfa and all off football anyway.

Also Re Tynecastle last season. Pits chants were cringy. Heavy handed stewards got what they deserved. Bullying scum.

 

Aye... it's a media agenda that has set us on one another. Don't you see, the media has planted a seed of doubt among us. They want us to fight amongst ourselves. What corporate greed are you referring to? We continue to invest in new players every year and nearly every window. Look across the city and you may see what corporate greed looks like. Celtic is a well operated business with it's head firmly in the 21st Century.
