On the bench. Guess he's only just arrived.

Guess we’ll never know how good he could’ve been either way

 

Got on for the last 30mins. Sounded like he was lively even if Dunfermline did get beat.

 

from the games ive seen him he has loads of ability and vision, could do with being a bit stronger on and off the ball

hope he has a good move

 

He and McInroy started in midfield for Dunfermline tonight, but both of them were subbed off before the hour. Raith Rovers won 5-1.

 

With Regan Hendry running the show for Raith. Another player mismanaged by us. Never went out on loan until he was about 20. Sure he was youth team captain, must have been something there. If he was put out earlier he would have matured alot quicker.

Always liked Hendry. Saw him a couple of times and thought he was the stand out in a fairly decent Celtic youth team. Good to hear he is doing well. Might still get a step-up yet.

 

What's going on with him?

I know he had a pish loan in Dingwall and has maybe stalled but he was very talented..

We have a real lack of mobility in the middle and he has decent pace and attacks well/has great vision. He should easily be on the bench when we have a real lack of option's as he'd be good in a 3 as an attacking 8..

He is stuck in no man's land. No getting a game for the b team and nowhere near our squad's. Have u missed something?

 

youd think hed be around the first team squad what with the injuries weve got and are picking up

remember he was on bench through last seasons europa league in the one game he played 60minutes we got our only victory and he played pretty well if i remember right

i guess ange doesnt fancy him or hes injured aswell or hes been sold or loaned out lol

 

That's my point mate, we could do with bodies who have some quality and have been in and around our first team over period's..

I'm no saying he's our saviour but our setup would suit him. Doesn't have to be shunned out wide left. Or stuck in a two. He'd be attacking, where he's best, in a midfield three as an 8..

He would suit our play right now, much more than some of the slow, laboured, immobile rubbish we're seeing just now..

 

I think he's pretty immobile to be honest. Bit more pace than Turnbull but that's not saying much. Haven't seen him for a while now, maybe he's bulked up but I always thought he had almost no athleticism to speak of. Don't think he's the answer.

 

Probably not but our bench yesterday had Owen Moffat as our only forward going sub. Henderson has been about the first team squad for a while and would have at least given us another option.

But tbh knowing us he's prob injured anyway.

 

Suppose it wouldn't hurt to try him but like most other players on our bench these days, I wouldn't trust them to come on and make an impact. Especially the magnitude of impact that we need right now. I'm surprised he's still here to be honest.

I actually think Robertson would be more like what we need at the moment. Shame he's out on loan.

 

Think he played right side of midfield when he came on in that European game last season and went well. * knows whats happened to him.

 

Bit more pace than Turnbull?

He'd leave our trio at the weekend for dead..

He isn't rapid but he's much quicker than them. Isn't even close..

 

Aye Turnbull and Rogic are incredibly slow, both are very good players on their day but even Brown looked faster than Rogic/Turnbull last year and that's saying something.
