    Paul Hartley was one part of the midfield partnership which got us through 3IAR, for that he won't be appearing on any of my "hated" lists anytime soon. Plus he's an absolute gentleman, and would run through brick walls for Celtic.

    Paul * Hartley.The most average player who it seemed to me everyone loved.Possibly the worst player I have ever seen in the hoops.Some guys try things but are *,he was here 2 years and never tried to do anything.Also Gordon Marshall for not getting near any of raith rovers penalties and not being bothered about it.Other people bother me but these two are the only ones to get me really annoyed

    Hartley's signing was part of the whole cutting the wage bill that we saw under WGS. WGS brought in simple, less expensive, yet effective players that he knew could win the league for us. Hartley was never one of our best players. Not by a long mile. But Hartley loved this club and gave it his all. He had the best attitude and was always a fighter on the pitch. I don't understand how anyone could hate him really? He wasn't like Braafheid, walking out of stadiums because he doesn't make the starting 11.

    sammy annoys me at times just because he could do so much more, brown used to , but came on to a game lastg season ....roy keane was the biggest annoyance only came to selll shirts , i never paticularly liked him as a person..and was pretty * into the bargain,,,.. hartley and robson won the league for celtic so cant see that myself.....cant say i hate any celtic player apart from judas the way he conducted himself....

    You can hardly blame Du Wei for Celtic signing him. Celtic were so desperate to get a Chinese player into their squad, for marketing reasons, that they ended up signing a player who was absolutely *.

    It was Celtic's fault and nobody elses.

    A common myth that I never bought into.

    We won the league that season because key players came to the fore, plus I remember Hartley being rank rotten at fir park during that run in.
