    That's wrong mate.

We need Vienna to win against Hamburg, or else hamburg will have 8pts and better head-to-head than us, and Hamburg to lose their last game aswell.

    <table class="TableLeft tableStandings"><tbody><tr class="on"><td class="nameteam">H. Tel-Aviv</td><td>4</td><td>9
    </td></tr><tr class="off"><td class="nameteam">Hamburg</td><td>4</td><td>7</td></tr><tr class="on"><td class="nameteam">Rapid Wien</td><td>4</td><td>4</td></tr><tr class="off"><td class="nameteam">Celtic</td><td>4</td><td>2</td></tr></tbody></table>
If Vienna win in a fortnight, there is still hope for us! :87:

The ball just seemed to ping off Fortun'e every time he tried to gather it, he looked more like Chris Killen than the Fortun'e we seen earlier in the season.

Like you say though, just back from injury and in need of match sharpness.

How did you rate his tackling tonight?

Decent but I felt he jumped in too often and seems to have the studs up.A wee bit dangerous looking.
Overall, the defensive side of his game is ok.

I thought his tackling was generally spot on as usual.

And his ability to shield the ball and turn?

N'guemo blew hot and cold tonight, he had some great tackles but also some very poor ones, he also gave the ball away a few times with silly mistakes.

i thought samaras had a great game tonight, tried his heart out. skippy is badly off form and needs to be dropped, if hes playing bad and still playing then its not much of a deterent.

also i dont usually comment on other fans but they are dirty * singing follow follow and having no surrender flags and the union jack made by holding the cards up, obviously its a widespread thing between their fans and not a small minority inciting trouble. shocking.

OK, nothing special but nothing wrong either, I'd probably describe it as solid.

I don't think he was the worse player out there, however, the original person I quoted said he thought he was by far the best player which is what I disagree with it. I was harsh to say overall he was poor but I stand by my point that he made some poor errors and was not the best player tonight.

To be honest after losing to Hapoel Tel Aviv 0 - 3 , I can tell you Rapid Vienna’s defenders are a bunch of gay * (excuse my language, but what has to be said has to be said, no need to be diplomatic!).
Awful! Disgusting! A shame! A disgrace!

Thought N'Guemo was one of our best players tonight, but at times suffered from what is continuing to be a terminal aspect of his game - loss of concentration at crucial times to provide 1 or 2 disastrous passes.

95% of the time he was excellent but some of these passes have been criminal and are going to cost us one day. Question is - is that a risk we're willing to take?

Only strange sub for me was putting on Naylor and pushing Fox on ! Aiden didn't do much but as the game opened up he might have had more influence. Crosas was shattered and should have been off , and push Robbo inside. Lack of firepower has cost us again ! Hopefully Mogga will see that 4-4-2 is our best formation and we can start to build some confidence and consistency. Noticed from the group table we have conceded the least goals ! We just can't score !

Far too many people moaning about a draw from a European away game against a good team. Sure we needed a win, but look at our European away record before this season started. Perhaps the fact that this is the Europa Cup has blinded people to the fact that regardless of the group situation it's a good result.

lets get a bit of perspective here, taking this game on its own its a pretty good result away from home to a top bundesliga side. fair enough it doesnt do our chances any good but the damage was done in the first 3 games, if wed been offered a point from the hamburg away game at the start of the competition wed have taken it

Talkin' 'bout Rapid, are you? :icon_mrgreen:

Same story over here, really. Bit eerie, tbh. Only I don't think we'd ever qualify for the CL, of course. EL group stage is about it these decades.

Agreed. The second goal was sheer class from our defenders :56:

Edit: Our forwards weren't much better though .. Jelavic is driving me insane. How on earth is it possible to waste so many chances ... it makes you wonder, really. We should have scored at least 6 in these two games not just 1, and no-one would be talking about our defenders if we'd score enough goals.

I wouldn't mind playing like Real: champagne attacking, soda pop defending. Alas, Rapid Vienna are Soda Pop United this year.
