I thought this guy was outstanding tonight and I'm perplexed this hasn't been bumped earlier!

Our best centre half, a leader, improving all the time, fantastic attitude and you almost forget his performances now because he makes so few mistakes.

I think he's a brilliant defender who's only going to get better.

I think him and Jozo could be a great partnership for years to come

For those who are in love.....
Him and Simunovic both made some mistakes or were caught out at time's, Sviatchenko ball watching a couple of time's (Suarez header) and Messi almost capitalising early on, and Simunovic almost getting an assist later on for a wayward dangerous pass, but.... Both made some terrific challenges and i don't think either were really caught out too much all night..

I rate both highly and that partnership is going place's..

He was that good today he rarely even needed to * tackle. Always in the right place.

I agree with a previous comment, he's becoming so good you hardly notice his talent because his positioning is so good he makes intervention look effortless and he's great at taking the ball out of danger too.

He's got that amazing trait of great defenders that he doesn't need to be quick cos he knows exactly where to be. He's scarily good at reading the play.

He is the exceptional kind of anonymous.

This current clean sheet run is massively in part to this guy. He is a machine and a sponge for improvement into the bargain.

Should be Denmark's first choice centre half.
