    Who else played that well?

    He got caught out a couple of times in the first half because the defence has * all protection from midfield and he pushed up. In the second half though he never really put a foot wrong.

    Made a fantastic sliding challenge on Hahn as well at one point.

    Poor game for him. First half he was horrendous, kept getting drawn to the ball and they were running past him at will. Kolo bailed him out a couple of times.

    Poor night for both our CB's.

    I think his positioning is questionable at times, left tierney in a shocking position a couple of times. Got away with one against Inverness as well when he should have been off.

    Yeah he was easily our best player. He definitely bailed Toure out time and time again. Just think about all the times on the break where Toure was getting done for pace. Erik always covered. Also was good on the ball.

    The midfield inability to keep the ball and get forward put huge pressure on our defence and we were lucky not to concede 1st half...we actually looked more solid 2nd half until kolos * up !! Have to say when kolo * up i thought eric was very slow to react and close the scorer down !!

    Reminds me of a bit during the game

    What I noticed was in the second half, he tried to play it into Griff's feet and just before he kicked it Griff spun away to the side and the pass went straight to their defender. Sutton gave Erik pelters for it, said it was a terrible ball, but my reaction, as a defender, was "* sake Griff" for moving away after showing for it :56:

    MOTM for us tonight for me, he made 1 mistake in the first half but then the whole team made mistakes all night. Erik bailed out several players throughout the game especially being left exposed so many times.

    This guy has been improving dramatically, he seems much more switched on and alert, reading the danger so much better as well.
