    It is good but it's unlike us to spend at least £1 million each on three different centre halves within 6 months. If we were wanting to sign a defender for cover we would be signing a free agent or someone for half a million.

    You'd assume we're signing this guy to be in the first team and I very much doubt Jozo won't be starting.

    Edit: And I don't mind 'given up' as in we're going to get rid of him. I mean maybe he isn't as good as we had hoped.

    What if we wants to go to 3 at the back or use one as cover at right back or he feels he can play one of them as a holding midfielder?

    All suggestions purely hypothetical.

    As someone pointed out though, we have plenty of games to play most seasons and we'll need cover for injuries and dips in form.

    I don't think it's quite as simple as saying that Jozo is a cert to play, or that any of them are certs to play if we're honest.

    It'll come down to form and various other factors.

    Truth is, we need to strengthen, and that's what we look like we're doing.

    Look at the value you get in the Scandinavian market.

    Buy him from the Championship and you can times that by 5 or 6 easily.
