At least we wont have to face his team FC Midtjylland in the Champions league next season, if they finish in their current position of 3rd.

Would be our best January in years if that happens. Two players I've mentioned loads of times in the suggestion thread. Just the type of players we should be buying for the price that they would cost. You could get these two for the price we paid for Armstrong and Ciftci...

This seems like the solid kind of signing that usually works for us. Hopefully all goes without a hitch.

Hat's off to guy's behind the scenes for getting this sorted, very exciting signing that shows some ambition from the club.

Wonder if the club has 'given up' on Boyata, so to speak.

Why would that be the case? We obviously need cover in that position, and competition for places is a good thing, isn't it?

Boyata, Simunovic and Sviatchenko would be a very solid base with Ambrose to deputise if any get injured. Thats a pretty strong centre back pool to choose from. If we are to compete on 3/4 fronts with 60+ games a season we need that many players for 2 positions.

There has been, literally, nothing to show Celtic have 'given up' on Boyata.

A guy that has played every minute of every game he's been fit.
