Good to see him doing well, * knows what happened to him here since he did look good when he came in but then a few injuries and never looked fit again.

Was slow as * and constantly grabbing * due to this, oh and he wasn’t very big for a CB.

That's what I mean though he wasn't fit at the end here since when he first came in he wasn't that slow and he never had any issues defending long balls, he scored a few headers actually. Was still miles better than Hendry.

Being miles better than Hendry isn't exactly hard.

Always rated him but in the end I think he was just too small to be a centre half here.

Wasn’t good enough but aye, he’d be better than Hendry.

Letting him leave for the same fee we paid for Hendry. Fantastic business.

He was excellent under Rodgers up untill a game against the huns where he really struggled and from that day onwards you'd be forgiven for thinking he was a totally different player. The final straw for him was when he was getting run ragged by a Linfield striker and came off 'injured'.

He's still a far better player than Jack hendry and to let him go for what we paid Dundee is a sickening bit of business.

FORMER Celtic defender Erik Sviatchenko looks set for a move to Trabzonspor, according to reports.

Turkish media outlets claim the 27-year-old is set to swap FC Midtjylland in a £2million deal.

The former Hoops star was a key player as his side finished runners-up to FC Copenhagen in the Danish league and won the domestic cup.

Sviatchenko, who joined Celtic from FC Midtjylland in 2016, won three league titles, two league cups and one Scottish Cup during his time in Glasgow.

He returned to his first club initially on loan in 2018, before completing a permanent transfer.

The five-time capped Denmark international made 63 appearances for the Hoops during his time at the club.

I liked Eric. Ive seen loadsa worse centre halves than him. Granted he probably wasnt tall enough to be a centre half. But he would have been a very useful squad player. Scored a good few goals for a centre half aswell. Think he was hard done by under Rodgers. Considering the two centre halves that Rodgers brought in....Compper and Hendry....Eric should have been preferred to those two....he was a decent enough player compared to those two bombscares

    I'd have kept him.

    I'd take him back actually.

Ajer, Jozo, Erik and one other of real quality.
