If Swansea are really after him,then Copenhagen can * off with 1.8million.copenhagen just sold one of there best players plus thell have money from europe.

 

Will be a miss, and certainly boyata is a worse defender and should be shown the door before him.

Let's hope this means another defender in though, it's gonna be needed.

 

If he does get sold then he needs replaced and hopefully with an experienced CB.

Comppers not enough. We need another one. Jozo caused too much fouls in Europe this season. Boyata was at fault with Gordon on a few goals as well.

We need to hedge in risk and to eliminate risk an experienced CB is the alternative.

Ideally, two experienced CBs. Ajer and another youth.

 

Pontus Jansson is the man, I'm sure he couldn't give a * leaving 6th placed Leeds in the championship. Knowing our board we wouldn't pay over 4m for a defender though. Leeds can have Sviatchenko and 500k lol

I was going to say look him up on youtube but we all know youtube can even make your Amido Baldes and Derk Boerrigters look good. Actually have no idea why the * I have watched Leeds play three times this season in the first place, must've been early kick off times

Edit: just read that he signed a new 5 year deal the other month there, so will probably be there another season before he leaves- disappointing

 

Will be sad to we him go, wonder if Brendan could a worked with him a bit more.

Remember thinking he was a great reader of the game at the start.

That embarassment against Rangers at Hampden a couple of years back I thought he was superb.

For me, the fact he couldn't force his way back into a side with Boyata and Simunovic says enough. Get rid for a reasonable fee and use it for funding an experienced centre half who can play.

Compper is a good start but we need another along with Ajer as long term options. I think Boyata is eyeing up the exit door for the summer as is Simunovic.

 

I'm still surprised at the fall of Erik. Along with Griff and KT he was one of the few standouts in the dying days of Deila's reign. I touted him as a future captain as well. I considered him so important to the team that I thought we were screwed when he got injured during the CL qualifiers last season.

He just hasn't been the same since the 2-1 game at Ibrox last year when he gave the ball away leading to the Hun goal, although to be fair he probably got put off by Garner lying in a heap with his shoulder popped out of place right in front of him.

I don't think he took being put behind Simunovic and Boyata in the pecking order well either, especially since before Boyata's resurgence he was generally considered to be the worst CB we had (aside from Efe). Thought he would get his chance when we had Simunovic and Boyata injured for this season's CL qualifiers, but then Erik got injured against Rosenborg and that was the last we saw of him.

If he does go, he goes with my best wishes. Seems like a nice guy as well and our team got a lot less handsome. Fare thee well Erik Sviatchenko.

 

I thought Erik was gonna be a great player here too.

Unfortunately for him, he suffered a serious decline in form, and his attitude stunk to the high heavens.

Experience assists Youth, having both in the same position will bring them on. I just don't buy into the idea that having young talent around the same age is going to bring them on.
