    Absolutely hopeless. Way off the pace. Rodgers should have signed defenders. I'd rather see a youngster with potential making mistakes than these duds.

    Based on what? The fact he wasn’t playing?

    Rodgers doesn’t fancy him and he’s on the road out. That’s all I need to known about Erik.

    Based on the fact that he's not got the mistakes in him that Jozo and Boyata do.

    Erik had a number of sub par performances but I can't remember him being anywhere near as bad as those two were today.

    Sviatchenko and Jozo put in some cracking displays in last seasons CL. He was the best player in our team, Griff aside perhaps, in the last few months of Deila's reign.

    Now I'm not saying he should be our first choice centre half for the foreseeable, but he's not a bad player.

    We do need better, but what I'm saying is that Jozo and Boyata have been bombscares for a few weeks now. Considering the lack of great options we have in defence, I'd feel slightly more confident with Sviatchenko in the team ahead of one of those two.

    By far the best partnership weve had under brendan was erik and jozo. We only have everything to gain from trying it again.

    Don't remember any of them having cracking performances in the CL last season personally.

    Johansen and Bitton were some of our better players under Deila for a while as well. They're not good enough either.

    Right now, Bitton is the best centre half at the club.

    Like I said, we do need better than Sviatchenko but with the way Jozo and Boyata have been playing I'd rather see Erik get a chance. Ajer as well.
