Ajer was unbelievable today. Strolled it the whole game

 

Definitely off if anyone wants him. 2 CB’s in January hopefully.

 

Shame how it's ending for him.

Really thought he was another Lustig after the first few months.

 

Will be surprised if he plays for us again barely played at all this year ever since Boyata came into the side better for both sides if he moves on we need better at cb anyway.

 

Out on his *. Whole hearted guy when he's in the side but not good enough and drawn into fouls too easily

 

Shat himself at Ibrox last Hogmanay and hasn’t recovered. Looked good when he first arrived as well. No future here though.

 

Couldn't care less..

 

Disappointing. Loved his passion in the early days- thought we had found a gem.

 

Fair enough. I only watched the game live and just remember him being awful for the first 30 mins. Also think he is a bit small to be a top class central defender.

 

Shame to see how this has turned out.

Sviatchenko seemed like the answer to our defensive woes in the tail end of the last Deila season. While Ambrose and Boyata were running about like headless chickens and Simunovic was injured, Erik was the rock at the back. Even scored against the Huns in the SC semi-final to get us back in the game despite losing in the end. Some were even touting him as a future captain.

Started off well under BR to the point we thought we wouldn't qualify for the CL when he got hurt.

Ever since the Hogmanay game at Ibrox he hasn't been the same since. Got caught out dithering which led to Miller's goal (although I don't think it's entirely his fault, think he got put off by Garner lying there in a heap). Saved the game with a great tackle on Forrester towards the end.

Don't think he's taken being behind Boyata and Simunovic in the pecking order very well. Maybe for the best of all parties if he goes. If he does leave, he goes with my best wishes.

 

For me it's more to do with his attitude to being dropped than his howler against the Huns that's * him here, boyata worked his * off to get into the team, Erik clearly hasn't

 

I remember touting him as a future captain under Ronny, just doesn't suit Rodger's team

 

Attitude undoubtedly for me..

If his attitude was spot on and he worked back in like say Gordon for example, injury free obviously, then I'm sure he'd of been in and around getting much more game time than trying Bitton, KT, Lustig, Ajer and whoever else there..

 

At his peak, he is the best centre back we have.

 

Came into my work today actually, clearly no bothering his *

 

Always assumed he’d get his chance. Thought he did well against Rosenborg as well, and he’d be straight back once he recovered from his injury.

How does he make the bench when we were playing our full team, then isn’t even in the squad when we make lots of changes? Unless he’s picked up another knock, his Celtic career is over. Shame, I really liked him and he was great with the fans and had a fantastic song.

I feel like Brendan just doesn’t like his attitude more than anything else. He worked his way back into the side, then he gets injured and suddenly is 5th choice. My theory is Brendan doesn’t think he’s worked hard enough to get back in the team. There’s no way he’s out worst defender, he was great last season. Seemed to be a great defensive partner for Jozo.

 

He's too slow for Rodgers. That's one of the main issues in my opinion. Being injured for ages obviously doesn't help either.
