    Didnt see the game today, but by all accounts Boyata was excellent, Simunovic not so much. Realistic to see Sviatchenko back in on Sunday? Was unlucky to lose his place to begin with.

    Aye it is, but I'm sure he'll get back in the team. 3 of them can be rotated to an extent. Imagine someone said on the 31st of August that Jozo and Boyata would be our centre half pairing in the New Year. Didn't even seem possible, nevermind plausible

    Now it is Sviatchenko who finds himself having to make a case for resumption of duty. “He’s training well. He had a slight injury issue which put him out initially, but he’s working hard to make sure he’s ready when his chance comes around again,” said Davies.

    “That’s what you’ve got to do. It’s a long season playing 60-odd games. There are going to be periods when you’re out of the team and you’ve just got to stay strong mentally, keeping a belief in yourself as a player. Then when your chance comes you take it. Erik’s calm about it.”
