Hearing 'This is a joke'. Over and over again. Doyler will have the last laugh when he sticks 3 past Inter.

guarantee we sign him and allow guidetti to go elsewhere . We will be left with Hibs relegation battle front line .

And the sad thing is, some will continue to believe that the board did indeed 'try'.

Like the * that sits in the same row at Parkhead as me, constantly peddling * about how we'll go broke if we spend and Lawwell has Celtic as his best interests etc etc.

The wage structure is solid. The wage structure is smart.

Especially in this day in age. We cant mad spend anymore, so the top striker in the UK for only £1.25m is a win-win.

I think your fishing at this point but to me the wage structure will hold this club back more than it will benefit it, e.g. buying eoin Doyle instead of giving guidetti a wage around the one he wants.

Eoin Doyle would bang them in for fun up here. What's the problem?

Aye like that 18 month spell he had up here before where he managed the dizzy heights of 14 goals.

Not even 1 goal per month that.

the problem is if we are going for him then the board have probably already decided that they wont be splashing the cash for guidetti and if thats the case then for me i think it would be the final straw . fuck8ng sick of this board always going the cheap route and showing no ambition and treating as fans like mugs.

He gave allot of assists to Griffiths. Now, he's the main man at his club. Banging them in left, right and centre.

Much like he will be the main man here.

Maybe we're trying to force his hand by showing we're looking at other strikers.

He's been horrendous recently to add to that.

maybe we just aint willing to put a decent offer on the table for him and as for him having a dip in form we all know what the guy can do and the goals will come again. If the board go for doyle instead of making a big effort to sign up guidetti the fans will go apeshit

Could be. Maybe though the club realistically cant afford him, or break the wage structure.

Now, players will hold guns to clubs heads for more money. Its refreshing to see clubs standing firm.

Fans may go apeshite. But If Doyle ends up the next Larsson, then all will be forgotten.

CELTIC are lining up a £1.5million shock swoop for ex-Hibs forward Eoin Doyle.
Hoops scouts were in the stands to see the Chesterfield hitman net from the spot in the Spireites 2-2 FA Cup draw at Scunthorpe on Tuesday.
The goal took the former Sligo Rovers star's tally to 22 for the season and he now has a host of English clubs on his trail.
League One outfit Chesterfield have knocked back bids from two Championship sides - believed to be Sheffield United and Rotherham - while Derby County and Cardiff are also in the hunt.
Celtic are also firmly in the frame having kept close tabs on the forward for the last two months and are preparing to make their move by meeting the £1.5m price tag.
The 26-year-old was a scoring sensation in Ireland before being taken to Hibs by Pat Fenlon.
He nabbed 11 goals in 49 games at Easter Road - despite often playing out wide rather than in his preferred role through the middle.
Doyle left Hibs after the defeat to Celtic in the 2013 Scottish Cup Final and has blasted 35 goals in two-and-half seasons in England.
