    * this has got to be a wind up?

Did he play with Griffiths at Hibs?

Might seem mad or a wind up. But he's a proven goal scorer.

Yes, he did play with Griffiths at Hibs. Both worked well together, doing well for a poor Hibs side.

Both had a mutual understand. Our team needs that.

Not if the fairy godmother granted him three wishes could he go out wide.

Played a significant rule there in Pat Fenlon's Hibs side. That successfully staved off relegation and got to a cup final.

He also not on the brink of breaking into the Irish national side. Martin spots a player.

I suppose this guy will be the reason we wont sign guidetti . The board wont be happy until the whole squad is of the same standard as a dundee united .

In Doyle and Griffiths we trust.

If they can fire Hibs to relegation survival, they can fire us past Inter Milan and to the domestic treble.

Thats absolute bullshit man? Stephen Kenny managed them and won the league this year? how's he *? Sligo, Pat's and Dundalk have all been better than them in recent years and have/had the better players. There's a reason the * just go to pat's to buy their best players. Thank * they didn't get Bermo or Fagan though :celt_2: On another note I hope to * we don't sign Doyle....

Bristol Post - Bristol City, Derby, Cardiff & Scottish champions Celtic set for bidding war for Eoin Doyle.

However, the Spireites would be at pains to lose Doyle who has scored 34 goals since joining from Hibernian in 2013 but, with a list of transfer targets of their own, they think they would be in a strong position to replace him.

But, just a day ago, Chesterfield boss Paul Cook said the club will not be bullied into selling their prized asset.

He told the Sheffield star: “If someone makes us an offer which changes that view, then it will change. But it hasn’t happened. At the clubs I’ve managed, I’ve learned that there are always bigger clubs than you. We lost Liam Cooper to Leeds and moved on, if we lost Eoin then it’s my job to provide a replacement.
“We can’t do anything about the speculation but we won’t be bullied. If we feel an offer is good for us and for him, he’ll go and if not, we’re lucky to have Doyler in our squad.”

Blow all the other teams out the water by offering them £4million.

    Indeed.

He would then blow all SPL teams out the water. All teams need a Doyler. :50:

I've not seen the lad play but is it 21 goals in 26 games? Even if it is League One, That is still pretty impressive. Wasn't Hooper hitting that sort of goal rate?

So is Daryl Murphy in a better league. Doesn't mean we should sign him again, either.
