The only reason he's linked is because he's Irish.

Seen him play for my local pub team Sligo for a couple of years he's just not the kind of player we would want or need.
Doing well because the current manager he's playing under knows how to get the best out of him.

Yea but he needs to be Semi decent as well sure if we added one more dub to the squad it would probably turn most of the Irish against Celtic :56:

Still love McClean though he needs to play for celtic

Aye but i very much doubt Deila went in and asked Lawwell to sign Eoin Doyle.
If this guy comes in you know who's signing the * players.

Look, even this guy should be able to score goals. He's getting good chances playing in the team he's at, but at Celtic i'm not so sure he'd get those chances because our midfield's so predictable.

Better this, better that. Nah, just a different set of circumstances. I was having a look at the goals he's been scoring last week and they're creating a lot of good chances for the guy.

They're playing it to the corner of the box and getting it into the penalty spot. Both sides of the pitch. Good midfield play was how i looked at it, they've got a decent bit of movement, final ball and end product.

I'm telling ye it looks a lot more interesting to watch than the horseshit we're having to endure.

Please tell me this isn't that ginger * who played for Hibs?

He was * woeful! We'd actually be as well bringing Daryl Murphy back who is doing just as well in a better league (and I'm not kidding!)

Paul cook is a great manager no doubt about played beautiful football with Sligo got a,lot of people out watching the team. Than he left for better things after consecutive cup wins and European spots for the first time in years.
The current motherwell manager baraclough guided Sligo to their first title in years with cooks style of play and squad and then imposed his style (hoof ball) on the team in the second season and it fell apart midway in the season .
shows how good a manager cook is and he really does get the best out of players Doyle being a good example.
He would make a great no.2 if JC was too leave in my opinion.

    Yes, played for Hibs.

From what I recall, he struck up a good partnership with Griffiths. Sign him, whats the risk.

He's * *, let's not sign him, there's even less risk in that.

    * me like, some people actually like the idea of a Leigh Griffiths/Eoin Doyle strikeforce for Celtic. Terrible to see standards so low.

Don't know about being bottom half of spfl, but didn't gary hooper come from a league 1 club ? I think he did ok when given the chance. :icon_mrgreen:

The thought of signing this guy doesn't inspire me in any case.

Hooper came after a 20 goal season in the championship, i'd think the championship is much more difficult than League 1.
