But if you agree with Ryan then giving up the ticket would be agreeing with him.

You still giving it the board conned us routine?

Nah a get over it once the summer window shuts coz i was never really expecting anything although there was some tasty rumours flying around for ages e.g Pavlychenko and co. Still feel we needed better quality if we are going to make the last 16 :50:

nah ano you werent but it annoys me some people on here can say some people are huns and no real fans when 3 quarters of the stadium stood and booed at the team when the final whistle was up last nite, surely a real supporter doesnt boo the team ? :celt_2:

They boo the fact we've drew or been beat i would say the team are aware of that pressure to win every game at Parkhead, the supporters are extremely demanding.

I know exactly how you feel, Iv'e been following them for 50 yrs and their are at least four players from last night who are just not good enough to play for Celtic. Mc Manus - Brown - Hinkel - Naylor. Mc Geady is talented but just does not have the courage it takes to be at the top of his game.

whoa. now this thread is a bit negative :38:

    okay, firstly...
its still early on in the season and in the CL ... and your already wanting to give back your season ticket..
i agree with Patto on that one, i'd have it !
however brilliant or not the team was playing.

i support celtic, and supporting celtic doesn't mean giving up on them after one game !

secondly.. yes last nights peformance may not have been the football we all like to watch , but we didn't lose and i don't know if you all havn't noticed but our group is still equal on points !

    Keep The Faith , :shamrock::50:

He isn't the only one who's seriously thinking of giving up going to CP.

What's noticeable is the personal abuse posters are subject too on this site if they openly slate the performance of the side or the credentials of WGS.

Jock Stein said it was MORE IMPORTANT to entertain than to win, more important because fans had worked all week and came to be entertained.

The fans, IMO haven't been truly entertained for some time now, thanks to the manager, buck stops with him.

The game has changed since Jock Stein made that statement, its more important to win matches & win trophies than to entertain people nowadays

He wont be missed byme anyway. I know many people that want a season ticket and would actually support the team. Don't need people like that inside CP

I disagree completely. If it's not entertaining, why watch?
When you've seen them win dozens of trophies as most of us have, what's left?

If you don't entertain, you'll lose the crowds. It's happening already. Despite what the press report, CP only has around 45000 at most home games. Under MON it was around 55000. Difference in trophies? Not yet. Difference in entertainment? Definitely.

MON came in off the back of the 90's, GS came in off the back of a successful reign. There's another difference

There's a difference between posting a subjective opinion and some of the utter dross, like this thread, you have to read.

If you don't like Strachan or you don't like the players and the way they play that is your perogative. The point other people are making is don't go voicing it in an aggressive manner and dragging everyone else down with you.

There's a lot of people with opinions i respect on this board, even if they aren't the same as mine, that are clear, concise and always in check. Then there are other's with a 'bull in a china shop' mentality that displays itself every time we suffer a blip. I know which group i'd rather be reading the opinions of.
