Another post that I totally agree with, I used to be his harshest critic but we are just not the same team when he's missing.
I would like us to strenghten this area tho as we lack cover if either Brown or Bitton are injured.

I doubt we will ever see another Scott Brown in our time, he is a once in a lifetime player. If we can get someone close to him in the future we will be doing well.

 

I love Broony but that is bullshit.

Larsson is a once in a lifetime player, we've had plenty of Broony's even just in my lifetime.

 

It's a matter of opinion, and I stand by every word. I have never seen a Celtic captain that has all the virtues Brown has, and that is saying something.

Larsson is a different kettle of fish, and is not a good comparison.

 

Broony is a leader. In my lifetime we've had the likes of Aitken, McStay, Lennon, Lambert, Petrov just name a few.

We've only had one Larsson, ergo once in a lifetime.

 

I'd make Johansen vice-captain for next season as well him and Broony are the driving forces for the team so they deserve the armband

 

Brown is a true Celtic legend,he gives our great club 500% all the time!

To be honest I doubted Deila. I could see what he was wanting to do but my main problem was that we did not have the players who could adapt, play his style, ie my issue was that our team at the time were not up to it. I also did think that he over rated our whole squad and underestimated the other SPL Teams, eg Inverness at the start of the season? So as well as our team adapting to Deila, he had to adapt to SPL and our team. At the moment it is working well.Steven and Armstrong have fitted in very well too. Trpohies now please!!!!

Seriously though managers need time to get teams functioning the way they want them too. One season is enough and if its not working then parting ways is fine.

Only situation(parting)that would be reasonable otherwise is the loss of the dressing room , as you never get it back.. This was one area Deila was really clever as he made the bond quickly and got everyone going the same direction. To do this as a new manager your motivation skills must be good , you must excite and your passion and philosophy must shine through. Now we can all see it , now everyone is pulling in the same direction..

A thread created on 5th October calling for Deila to be punted?! Seriously? * me, talk about a ridiculous knee-* reaction. That's almost as bad as the people who were calling for Lennon's head in September 2011.

Hope words are being ate now.

 

Even the people who backed him the most had doubts weather they admit it or not. How could they not. Legia was just embarrassing. Our form was good one week, poor for the next 2. He had the benefit of time, a luxary that many dont get.

People saying get it up ye and so on to me. Hahaha you madmen must really value my opinion, if ye canny wait to slag of an imaginary character on the internet.

Anyhoo i am delighted that it worked out for Delia and us. I call it like i see it and i am not petty. I only want what is best for us. Simple as that. I'd have bomber brown in the dugout if i think he could bring us european success! Still though Im not jumping on the internet ronny bandwagon just yet!
