We have some who cite in Deila's defence the 4 points we have gathered so far, but significantly fail to mention that we did not play at well in both games, and were most fortunate to escape with the points, just putting some balance to this issue, and they fail to mention this is just the Europa not the Champions League, in other words in amongst the minnows. It is my opinion if we do drop more points tomorrow as I expect we will, then Deila should be relieved of his position immediately, and someone else brought in to negotiate the two Astra games.

Depends whether the "h" is silent or not.

Astra could justifiably be called "minnows" (though not to be underestimated), Zagreb aren't and Salzburg definitely aren't.

The Europa League may not be the CL but it's still a tough competition.

    In amongst the minnows:rolleyes:

You must be thinking of another club playing minnows,
I see inter, feyenoord, borussia, sevilla, napoli, st ettiene, spurs, etc
In this competition, or did you miss them:rolleyes:

Let's hope you're 100% right. Pity about Stokesy's bollocks operation, though. HH :shamrock::shamrock:

So if he gets a dodgy 1-0 win he needs to go?

Didn't you already want him to go, what makes today any different to your stance last week, or the week before, or the week before that?

People wanted excitement in the league. There must be a whole host of people loving these "must win" games then, no?

The standard of football hasn't been exciting though. Competitive, yeah because we have been so poor, but just look at our attendance this season, not enough people are excited and up for going to games.

Yes he should already be gone to be honest. If we scrape a 1 nil he has to go.

I'm sure you were saying much the same in August!!!!

There gets to a stage where it's pointless and just annoying when you have to repeat the same boring stuff every day.

For the record I think he looks fairly clueless as well and am concerned we are going backwards but prefer to give him a bit longer yet before all this "sack him" stuff.

The tactics, decisions and performance against Hamilton can only be described as baffling and plain awful....he looked seriously wanting that day and it was the first game I sensed the crowd were starting to turn, particularly the Guidetti substitution.

I expect to see lessons learned in the next month or so, if it continues then yes I would think few can fight his case but at least he will have been given a decent crack

Was sitting in the Lisbon Lions for Hamilton and amongst the boredom took a photo with my phone, looked at it a few times on my computer blown up and cannot see how there was much more than 30k there....that's concerning

Yeah I agree. I've been to every home game this season, sit in the Jock Stein stand upper tier, and just looking around the stadium is a bit depressing. Was really strange going to the game against Zagreb with the upper tier closed, bizzare atmosphere.

You get fans that say "oh isn't that what you wanted, challenging, exciting league?". Well naw, I'm a season ticket holder and I'm not being entertained or excited, and neither are a * load of people, just look around the stadium. So Deila better stop * about, start winning games and improving or he will be out on his * by January.
