We were in a similar position under Lennon as well, so no need to go back to the Mowbray era.

Which players are discontented? I've heard nothing but support for the manager and his methods from the players.

Admittedly Stokes has been rotten for weeks, he is never a lone striker, but I don't think that's down to the manager, he just needs a goal.

2 new strikers have come in with one making a decent start.

Do you really have any doubt whatsoever we will win the title? You'll still be lucky to find a bookie to take a worthwhile bet.

All about a good European run for me.

Enough with that * already. Lennon had proved he could wins games and play well consistently, Ronny is yet to do this. We have the right to be * off, stop slating fans who are not happy.

Mowbray is the template we find ourselves back in.
Lennon proved he could go on long unbeaten runs, Deila can hardly scrape two 1-0 wins together.Big difference.

    Great minds think alike :smiley-laughing002:
Still this situation could go two ways, either the Mowbray way which seems more likely to me, or he could start digging himself out of a hole by stringing some wins together. But with Ross County and Astra looming on the horizon, I do not feel confident.

Had he proved it when he lost to Ross County in the cup not long after taking over? What about when we were 15 points behind the Huns?

If I remember correctly we were 10 points behind with 8 games gone in Lennons first season.

Bit hard to lay the Ross County one on Lenny when he hardly had a foot in the door and was a rookie manager. If I remember right N'Guemo had a stinker that day and our midfield collapsed because of it. Ain't it funny Ross County could be significant again for another Celtic manager Deila ?
If we drop more points there I reckon Deila will be Crucified.

As regards the Rangers situation they were a much better team then, and at the end we were just pipped by them because of Butcher and Inverness Caley Thistle,

He lost the cup game vs Ross County, but won all his remaining league games that season.

Its not really funny because it wasn't significant for Lennon. As regards to the Rangers situation they were * then and falling apart at the seams, probably one of the main reasons we managed to turn it around because they were such a *.

Lennon knew the club inside out, he knew the league, the opposition, everything, things Deila needs time to get to grips with. This EPL like attitude our fans have is embarrassing.

Our captain has indicated that many Celtic players are hiding on the pitch, and things are not well.Guidetti has performed well enough so far, but Scepovic is struggling.

I am genuinely worried about the league because of Deila's stubborness to change things when they are not working well, and the fact the teams above us have continued to improve, and they have better and hungrier managers and good pools of players with something to prove to each other.

:56: this thread is * hilarious how many games are we into this season? What actual competition do we we have seriously lads come on now get ur little panties untwisted and think about it! Im not here to demean the start these teams have had fair * to them but lets be honest hamilton will fall away just like every other scots team does. There is zero consistency the only reason we aren't top right now is because we are * atm a work in progress! Its hard going into every season thinkin this but sadly this is the life if a celtic fan for the foreseeable future! Our board are so narrow minded they look for loan deals, granted id take a loan deal of the likes of denayour over buyin players like mjastorovic anyday but lets be honest we wont have the young lad next season because regardless of how good he is the board cant justify spending upwards of 2.5 mill on a defender even though the 10 that it will cost would be a drop on the ocean im next years champ league money payouts! Im not sayin ronnie is the right choice im not sayin hes the best thing since sliced bread but what i am sayin is hes our * manager and you should all cop the * on and get off his back! Mistakes are made if he rectifies them great if not we will let him know! stokes commons are 2 id drop for the next game regardless of who we replace them with! Their attitude in the hamilton game was disgusting and this should be their punishment i want players that want to play for the shirt and the fans like barry robson players who aren't necessarily talented but work hard over talented and lazy

This thread is an embarassment. 3 months into the league season and already it's doom and gloom, we're *, no gonna win the league, all this *. Right, I'll hold out until January, and if we ain't top by then, you were right, OK? But this is a manager completely unfamiliar with Scotland and the Scottish style of play (ie hoof it up to the big man) who is currently adapting his game in order to make it work. Give him a * chance, will you?

Christ, we've already got a point from the hardest game in the group in the EL and we followed it up with a win at home which puts on a good course for getting out the group. Deila clearly has a quality about him, he just hasn't had the chance to show it properly in the league yet.

Considering the signings we made in the Summer, we're poor to watch. I hate the fact we've got this arrogance at the very top. So as much as it wouldn't bother me much if the manager left, i'd worry because we'd still have these idiots calling the shots.

They seem to have this absolute love for John Collins and i can't see where they got that from. It's problematic if you bring in a manager and he doesn't get to pick his backroom staff. Added with Collins is John Kennedy and the young players he's brought through is about the only plus so far this season.

Maybe it's this thing where we're scared to take risks and somehow it leads to making bigger risks. I look at it and think well why not just have had John Kennedy and Steve Frail. Sure it's not the most glamorous choice, but at least we'd have had a backroom staff who'd worked together before.

Deila just sounds like a broken record and he's already not been able to put a decent side out since United, when the central midfielders got forward. This is why we don't get enough goals. We're now looking at Ambrose out on the wing and he's a central defender. Wakaso a left winger, playing right midfield, Tonev hides, Boerrigter hides and umpteen good players on the bench can't get a game, with a bout ten of them unable to offer a physical presence in terms of defending the midfield.

It's *, but everything's still to play for - but i can't really say i'm interested in even watching the games, because their is very little to support, just a mixed bag of foreign players who've failed at their previous clubs. You look at it and think Scepovic and Guidetti up front, yeah i'd tune in to watch that, but then we get Stokes, Commons, Izzy and Ambrose - that's really who we're watching when we watch Celtic.

I can't get my head around why we never sign the exciting Scottish players scoring goals and setting them up for fun in order to give deals to players Park thinks we can make a huge profit on, but really can't sell for even £2million.

The list of * players we've signed is ridiculous and the question is would you get excited supporting a team with TOnev and Wakaso in it or Gauld and Mackay-Steven?

This is why i can't really bare to watch it anymore. Their's a compelte disconnect between greed and quality on the park. Players who want it. Players who socialize together. I don't see it happen with so many different egos in the group and egos in management and egos higher up the chain. Right now, their are more interesting games to watch in the SPFL, than watch Celtic against anyone.

    Sorry but it's true.
