I'm with you on that, sick of him ..

We were promised we'd always be in a better position after each transfer window, the continual drastic downsizing has proved that to be a lie..
The way sections of our support have been treated has been a disgrace and the sucking up because of our 2 champions league exits was predictable and embarrassing, and there plenty of.others..
Guys just a bare faced liar, Charlie nick was spot when he spoke about us losing trust, it's gone in most.peoples eyes, in my opinion..

I'm still backing Ronny just now. He's been unlucky with injuries to Matthews, Lustig, Broony, Forrest etc, and he was hung out to dry by the board in terms of new faces in time for the CL qualifiers.

He gets to Christmas time for me, barring some spectacular collapse.

I think as long as the league is still on, he should stay.
Its not as though we are under any real pressure with the huns going to win the league at our expense......let him get on with it and see what happens. If we are 10 points behind in January.....fair enough, but that aint gonna happen.
We couldnt lose the league if we tried. The other teams may go on a run, but they dont have the depth to win week in week out. They will cut each others throats. There isnt another team in the league that could go 10 games unbeaten or pick up 25 points from 10 games like we could. We only need to do that once and it will be over.

Every player should be doing what the manager asks of them, that is why they are paid, and paid very well I might add. Some players are not pulling their weight, and Brown saying players were hiding to lengths not seen before is worrying. Should we just keep bringing in new managers until all of our players decide they want to play for him? If certain players don't want to play under Deila, then they can find the nearest exit door as far as I'm concerned. I don't want players who aren't prepared to play for the jersey. Who's to say the next manager wouldn't have similar philosophies to Deila, what happens then if some players don't like his ways, sack him as well and move on to the next manager? You start going down a slippery slope when allowing players to win so to speak over managers.

On Lawwell, the man is a complete snake, and is a far bigger problem at our club than Deila, but he has deflected a lot of the blame away from him, after his pre written interview which won a lot of fans back on his side. He has been found out lying in the past, and he treats fans with utter contempt. The sooner he is away from the club, the better as far as I'm concerned.

Compare Lennon last season at this stage with Deila this season

Lennon Position 1st with Celtic unbeaten in League having lost 7 goals and in Champions league Group stages
Deila Position 6th with Celtic losing 2 games in League having lost 7 goals and in Europa League group stages

look, I'm in no way a blind believer in Deila's ability, in fact my faith is severely wavering just now, but its not a fair comparison to put him up against lennon from last year... lennon had years to build his own team and relationships. Deila has inherited what's left of that team and only had a few months to try to make his mark, coupled with very little financial assistance and some really unfortunate injuries.

a fair comparison would be lennon's 1st full season - remember the one where he was nearly sacked for crap results? But even that's not fair, because he was up against the Huns, and therefore got a wedge of cash and multiple transfers. also, i think the other teams in the league are now better than they were then, most with new managers who no longer fear the 'old firm drubbings' of old and are willing to have a go...

in short, I'm far from happy just now, but I'm willing to give it until January before I'm going to decide yes or no on the management and coaches

Lenny never nearly got the sack in his first full season. He finished that season with 92 points after inheriting one of the worst Celtic teams I've ever witnessed.

We will get nowhere near that this season.

Only time will tell on that front mate. A better way to compare the two would be how much silverware they picked up at the end of their first season in my opinion. I'm not overly fussed how much points we finish with, as long as we win the league, it's job done in all honesty. This season still has the potential to be our most successful since MON's first year in charge. Sounds crazy I know, but that is fact. For as good as we were last year in the league, our season effectively ended in February after an embarrassing defeat at home to Morton, and then another poor performance at home to Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup. Last year was a poor season in my opinion.

On the cup front it was. In the league and the fact we had Champions League football it wasn't. I hate the 'just win the league mentality' though. We should be demanding the absolute very best off of our players, demand consistency, striving to be the best we can possibly be. 'Just' winning the SPL doesn't do that for me.

For me with no CL football we would need to make the last 8 of the EL.
CL participation >>> League cup victory
