Definitely. I might not like the guy but I admit things would be a thousand times better if Mjallby stayed

You buy a new couch, but it's lime green and doesn't fit with anything you have in the house. Then you throw everything you have out and repaint the house so it can fit.
To suggest that we should sack all the players it's ridiculous. What I most hate of this unconditional backing of Deila (and calling everybody who doesn't like him as something short of a traitor) is that often it comes at expense of ridiculing our players. The team is good. It's not Borussia Dortmund or Atletico Madrid, but it's the best team a club outside of the top 3 leagues, with an unambitious board and from a country beside the richest league ever where even a small club like Southampton can milk out our best players year by year, could have. There are 15 current internationals, 2 players that have been to the world cup (and these are two of our most criticized players), most are not even 26 yet but they are treated as some fat journeyman past their peak.
It's not even into discussion that this side should have trounced Hamilton and Maribor. Name two players from Legia Warzawa, the team that have beaten us 6-1 in aggregate, that would cost more than Scepovic (or however you write it :smiley-laughing002: ). This team is good. It's not the Lisbon Lions, but they have given marvelous performances against the best teams of the world when they were managed by a professional, albeit a relatively unexperienced one.
I get seriously angry that without any evidence they are treated as unprofessional *, just because an under pressure manager makes some cynical comment about burgers. If they are demotivated, which I don't think they are, I think the tactics are just pish, there must be a reason behind it. Some of them have served Celtic for years and deserve some trust.

So,its the players to blame then * I thought it was fizzy drinks, chips,Lennoxtown, etc etc * etc.

Look I know this is going off topic a tad but I was a foreman in construction for many years, some jobs over 80 men,and when things went well it was because of my men,but if things went wrong,in my mind it was my fault for those guys were working under me.
Now Ronny come lately takes over Celtic, changes the setup, changes the diet, tells his players in the press that they are not fit enough, tells the press that his players lost their heads, tells the press that he has no time for loan players, tells the press that he will play youth players, then plays loan players instead of kids like Henderson and McMullan, but when things go wrong, its never Ronny's fault.

This guy has more stories than Hans Christian Andersen ffs.

I was 100% behind Neil. He did have his faults as a coach but he learnt from most of his mistakes. My biggest gripe with Neil was that it would take him too long to make a change if things were not going too well. The majority of his changes wouldn't take place until the magic 1 hr mark in a game. The players were 100% behind him. His man management skills are second to none.

Its all about opinions McGuire and you know it.

As for drums, you bang yours and I'll bang mine.:50:

As for Peter,* where to start other than when Ronny leaves I hope he takes that * with him.
Look I said at the time that WGS did not sign Roy,Roy has just confirmed that,I said that WGS did not sign Du Wei,should I go on,Lennon did not sign Bangura or Freddie, should I go on.

Naw I asked them to do tasks within their capabilities,I didn't ask Joe to put square pegs into round holes when I knew if I had he'd be confused as to why.

Do you think he is asking too much of his players to
follow a good diet & fitness regime?

I've no problem with that mate, just think we are becoming mode increasingly impatient as a general support than usual..
Think the guy deserves some slack at least let him get a settled side on the go, we only just got our captain back, we have a well documented full right side out and 2 strikers in who aren't 100% match fit and have hardly played..
Once that happens and you throw wakaso and tonev in after a couple months of a settled side and still things getting worse, then get back to me..

The.vultures in Scotland are having a field day with ronny and peter lawwell has left him to the lions, it's time we let the outsiders and ronny know our support is fully behind him .. If he * up after that then so be it but until then..

As for signings and lawwell, overall i agree with that..

nev - I know after certain matches what I wrote about Neil Lennon. I'll still say I was 100% behind him. Certain results and performances did get a reaction from me. I did state that he had his faults as well. The one thing he did do was learn from those and prove me wrong on ocassions. I would say WGS was as good as any recent managers we had.

I have a gut feeling it would be best to part ways. But im a firm believer in giving managers time. I think unless we are 10 points adrift at christmas we should give Ronny the chance.
