It's like school mentality when a teacher comes in first as a supply and the spoilt brats try to take the * and revolt.. Only the only people there * is themselves, here they are * the manager, club and the supporters, last but not least..

Already been said but these players are on a fortune, to not like what ronny is trying to instill is one thing, to not give it a go at least is another..

I said before that broonys comments were ronnys biggest worry to date, it seems that our suspicions are correct..
I said long ago that any player not turning up on training and match days to spite the current regime should be punted ..
We should all be unanimous in our backing for ronny in that instance, it's not acceptable to throw your manager under the bridge because of hard training, strict diets etc because YOU don't like it, even if it's best for the club moving forward..

I stress IF (which i think some are) this is the case, they can get to * and my backing for ronny will go up even higher than it already is..

How will they know his philosophy is wrong if they aren't prepared to go with it. So should we just keep chopping and changing manager until the players decide they want to play for him. Not a chance, if some players aren't happy with the changes, they can find the nearest exit for me. Nobody in the team is irreplaceable, we have had to cope with losing players far greater than any currently at the club.

He's the manager & they should give their best to make him a success,
for the fans & the club.

I don't think broony's comments were as bad for the manager as they were
for a few of the players. I think Scott has marked their card.

Broony's comments were devastating for the manager because it all rebounds back on his methods, tactics, man management etc, which obviously a certain influential group in that team are violently objecting too.And at the end of the day the manager always has to carry the can.I am also sure Broony is not letting on about half he knows, as being club captain he will be acutely aware of how the players are feeling about Deila and Collins, and to be honest they look a pair of * to me.Don't forget Broony and the Hibs players crossed swords with Collins before in past times.

If the manager is a numpty, and in this case he is, then I would always stand by the players.

Which comment are you referring to?

I don't think I saw the one you're talking about, I must have missed it.
Can you link to it please?

Which players are we talking about that are being obstructive and not cooperating with the playing style and fitness and training regime that the manager's trying to instill? In his interview after the Hamilton game, the manager had that haunted look, and I really started to worry that Ronny didn't know what else to do to get some of the players to perform the way he wants them to; I really hope we can bounce back in style against Ross County. The only thing I'll give Deila his dues for is that he has Our team on footballers diets now.
Even then, not like it's made them better.

See in all honesty, I tried, and I did support the Manager, and probably like most of the Celtic supporters, none of us had a scoobie about the guy. But like everybody who manages/plays for Celtic, you do the right thing and get behind them. Right now, I'm totally scunnered with Ronny & JC. They will never convince me, that they are good for Celtic. Ronny's like a Rabbit caught in the headlights, and JC's heid is too far up his own *

If they've beaten Barcelona and won the league with just one loss (could have been none if VVD wasn't sent off early that day), I would just let them do it.

If there is any problem between Deila and the players, I wouldn't say that it's only because of the diet. Everything points to the fact that the guy does seem to be very arrogant. And one thing is being arrogant when you are Mourinho. Another thing is being arrogant when you are some norwegian unknown fella that used to manage some small town side lecturing a team with 15 internationals with perhaps a thousand caps among them on what should they eat.

Can we use something else to defend him? I am sick of this talk that all the squad, the board, the kitman, the cooker all have to adapt to him while he doesn't need to learn anything. What's next, will we be teaching the whole squad and staff Norwegian?

nevnor - I raised this on here back in August. Nothing has changed and things have got a lot worse behind the scenes. That's all I will say on the matter. I constantly get ridiculed by certain posters on here when I say anything. U don't need to be a scientist to realise all is not well. Today Mulgrew comes out trying to defend the manager. Why the need to come out to the media to state this??

Would Deila be better off with a different assistant rather than Collins?
    I think so.

See that's the problem "everyone one has to buy into the new philosophy",that seems to be Ronny's way,its MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY.

Look,as much as I would wish that he could/would do well I can only say in behave of Ronny, that the job is way too * big for him.
