Sutton is another I'm beginning to lose respect for: done nothing at Lincoln but feels compelled to offer his tactical genius to Deila and most of that is * too. Recommends playing "ball carrying right mid" in front of Ambrose but doesn't give us the name of said player in our squad who can perform that role.

Id say man for man every player in the squad was better last year then they have been this year with the new diet in place,

Do you remember him coming out with the Dundee 'riots'?
He will literally say anything for money.
Money from rags that have in the past accused our fans/players/staff/boardroom of (delete as appropriate) bigotry/racism/sexual assault/money laundering... i could go on.
Papers that incited hatred of our previous boss and all that brought with it - bombs/bullets/death threats.
He brings it on himself was their favourite.

For someone who allegedly 'supports' Celtic he will take a shilling from those who would love to see us nuked from this earth.
Bit by bit they try and deconstruct us and using former players who love a few bob or need a few bob is easy meat for them.
Hartson has not just criticised our club and fans but has made up bare-faced lies.

We can and will criticise our club - but to take money from those who revel in painting us in a negative light and basically saying what they want him to... Not on.

"John, what do you think of the Celtic fans who started a riot"?
"I think it's shameful and they should be banned now you mention it. Celtic need to cut this out and if need be deduct points etc".

"John what do you think about Celtic being * this season and Deila being a clown"?
"I think Deila looks out of his depth now you mention it. Celtic need rid as he's not Celtic class etc".

Remember the League Cup final when Pat Nevin talked *? Along the lines of "i will point out when i hear bigotry coming from the stands". Saying we were singing bigoted songs through the whole first half when in fact it was Rangers?
Why is it ok for certain people to make up lies about our club after being mislead or coerced by the media? Because they pertain to be 'supporters'.
Supporters don't or shouldn't sell their own kind out.

But we are Celtic. And selling your fellow fans and Club down the river is now the done thing.

As I said mate, had the things Hartson said come from Andy Walker or Craig Burley, then everyone on here would have been falling over themselves to call him all sorts.

Difference is I still have a lot of respect for John Hartson.

He cares about the club. I've saw far worse being said on here.

He cares more about his bank balance if he is accepting money from the SS (quite apt acronym) to lie about us.

We may say far worse things, but we are not paid to. We pay into the club in money and emotion. It hurts us in more ways than one.
    Hartson does not.

Fair enough. I don't think he's lied there though.

Dundee Riots thing was bang out I'll agree there.

Maybe so, still doesn't take away the fact that Hartson is out of order, in my opinion that is. He says he is a Celtic fan, so he should know what we are currently going through. Every Celtic fan knows it's not been a great start under Deila. It's the things he has said though, calling him clueless, what good is that to anyone. I've lost a lot of respect for Hartson in all honesty over this.

I'm hopeful that Deila actually realises this is a shitstorm he's in and needs to adapt. Talking about the positives against Hamilton annoys me, he did look clueless, the other clubs and fans in Scotland are laughinh at us. If Deila doesn't want the criticism then he can shape up and at that point it will stop.

I also get the feeling that Hartson (and Sutton) feel he's been greatly disrespectful to Neil Lennon, a view I share by the way, and the they won't hold back in criticism of him.

Lennon used to do the exact same thing about taking poisitives from games, when he was talking to the press. How was he disrespectful to Lennon?

Lennon had a hard winning edge about him, he would take positives from games, yes but there was always a notion that it is completely unacceptable.

He's been having digs at the state the team was in since he took over and putting that down to the previous management. Considering the state of the team just now, compared to last year, that is entirely disrespectful towards a Celtic legend for me.

I don't think he has been disrespectful to Lennon at all. I think things he has said have been taken the wrong way and portrayed different in the media. (wouldn't be like the media in Scotland eh). Look at the article the other week, the headline stating that Deila said we were amateurs under Lennon, then when you read the article, it said no such thing.

Deila will have his own methods, if he wants the players fitter and eating differently, then so be it. That isn't being disrespectful to the previous manager, it's just his own philosophy. I'm pretty sure Guardiola will have done things differently at Bayern last year from what Heynckes did the year prior. That isn't him disrespecting the last manager though, it's doing things his way.

I'm not disputing that and I don't read the articles, just when I heard his interview I was thinking he's not got any right to have any jabs at the previous coaching staff. Of course the media are *, that's just the way they are.

Neil's one of my all time favourite Celts though and because of what he's faced in the country I'm a bit... reactive to any criticism his way. I may be overreacting but it struck me as very disrespectful.

What has Deila said about the previous management team mate that are disrespectful? Genuine question by the way as I've not heard him comment on any of them really.

Was something along the lines of he couldn't believe how unfit the team was, and he puts that down to previous management.

He did say he means no disrespect by it but I tend to think that's a cop out along the lines of "Now I'm not racist but..." if you get what I mean?

Funny thing is though, I was critical of the fitness under Neil, it's just... don't fling * at the previous management when you aren't managing the same sort of consistency and on field results.
