What makes me laugh is that guys like me will earn a bad reputation on here for slagging Ronny off, yeah Hartson probably won't because he's big bad john.

It's what I've been saying all along, Ronny isn't the right man for the job, he's absolutely clueless, and seems far to laid back. Get him to *.

Hartson loves this club and its fans.

His problem is he isn't a journalist or indeed very clever at all. That shows in some of his over-egged nonsense he comes away with.

We should cut him some slack for that.

I've never really had a problem with ex players saying what they feel about the club, players, or manager tbh.

I'd rather see some truths come out than blinkered views from behind the club crest.

I know papers have to sell and ronny isn't doing well getting the heat off but the amount of ex pros/'Celtic men' sticking the boot in aren't helping whatsoever and are helping create further pressure on ronnys shoulders..

That mob have went bust and have been a laughing stock since but not once has the old pros act went to town on there current manager..
Constructive critiscm is fine and i agree with a lot of hartsons points but the timing and volume of players walker/mcavennie/hartson/sutton off the head have all went for him this week looking to stick the boot in..

The worst think BTM said was "we have to take it on the chin",I know he said it too often.
But this guy since day one has blamed everyone/everthing
for his own screw-ups.BTM is and was a gentleman, but this guy comes across as (its my way or the highway),and that's a sure sign of an arrogant *.
I suppose I'm being a tad tough with my words for I do feel that the guy is way in over his head, and maybe if once he came out and said "yes I got it wrong",but naw so far its been the players,Lennoxtown, the food, the ex manager yada * yada.

Agreed mate. Don't get me wrong I obviously love some of guys who actually fall into this category like big Hartson and Sutton but what they're doing is counter productive to us as a club and isn't helping our new manager who's under a lot of pressure at the minute.

As you said criticism is fine (and probably deserved) but I really don't like some of the stuff that's being said and how our new manager has been written off already by a lot of fans and some of our own legends. Big eye opener the last couple of months.

Mcguire - there's a difference in speaking the truth and sticking the boot in. Ronny hasn't give any of the ex players any confidence that he is fit to be manager of our great club. Remember he was interviwed to becoming our No.2 not our No.1.

At the end of the day Ronny has to get his finger out and start getting results, and improvement on the pitch. What an ex striker/player comes out and says shouldn't make our manager greet and crumble, he is the manager of Celtic, not Dundee. If anybody is criticizing him they are more than entitled in doing so.

Saying that our new manager 'doesn't have a clue' and is 'a laughing stock' isn't sticking the boot in?

    Come on.
