I think start of January, but then with that being said there would be an arguement to see what he does in the transfer window..

Im the same, I was all for him in the beginning. I want him to do well, i hope he can turn his fortunes around and prove us wrong. Id love it if he reached anywhere near 80 or so points.

I said end of November as IF we need to replace Ronny, it would allow time to find someone and then the Manager would have time to assess what is here and then do something in the transfer window. I know this is not good thinking like this but the prospect of NOT winning the league is just not on.
It is a possibility under current form.
The really annoying thing for me is the squad we have is/are more than capable of winning the league IF they are used to their own strengths. I am all for change as its usually a good thing (be that business or anything else) however usually the change does not happen immediately and is gradual.

I think that managers get sacked far too quickly. You can't give someone another mans tools and expect him to adapt to them straight away.

I've found some of Ronny's decisions bizarre so far, but he's proving to be his own man and that takes a pair of balls at a club like ours! He clearly has a plan... even if it's not all that obvious to anyone but himself at present.

He came here with the background of having built success in Norway. We were told it would be a long-term project, so lets not bottle it now and bin the man before he's had a proper run at the task.

We're in a fairly unique stage in our history... almost guaranteed the league for the next 2 years (even if the Zombies do get promoted, they won't be competing in their first season). So let's suck it up for 12 months and stick with Ronnie and see if he can build a proper team. Not just a collection of flat-track-mercenary-bullies who are already looking for their next club the minute they walk through the doors as we've seen in recent years.

I agree with this. As crazy a prospect as it is.
Im not convinced by his defensive tactics. I think if we were to play against a really top european side we would get annihilated. pumped all ways. The lack of any evident progress and the fact that we have no real stand out, on form outfield players is highly alarming.

All math aside, Ronny has been a disaster so far, but i would not expect him to be sacked so early.

Well we can debate the strengths or short comings of the current manager for weeks if not months, but the most worrying trend I see is that less and less Celtic supporters are attending games.

I believe this is a result of the boards actions on various matters, season tickets sales are way down (again on the previous season),transfer kitty policy, departure of Neil Lennon, etc, etc.

The Celtic PLC Board, the clubs major shareholder and the CEO Peter Lawwell are now alien to most Celtic supporters compared to a few years ago. Whilst I appreciate it takes a lot of money to run a club like Celtic, this club does generate a lot of money from various sources such as sponorship, season ticket sales, merchandise, stadium food revenue, however we don't ever see any significant financially input from Dermot Desmond, why ?

What is Celtic Football Club to Dermot Desmond ? Is it an investment, a play thing or just a status sybol for a Millionnaire ? Unlike many rich Millionnaires in the EPL we never see Desmond investing more than his initial shareholding purchase,so I have to believe we will never go forward under his tenture at this club. Perhaps its time for him to sell up and give someone with a more positive attitude towards this great club a chance.

Anyone that wants to buy out DD is free to do so, all they need do is make an offer. Personally I would prefer that Celtic is run on the income she generates and is not reliant on a "sugar daddy" who may get fed up and bail out.

That Depeche Mode when we score!!
He was offered the job and took it,let us judge him in the spring when we could still be in Europe and top of the SPL.

Watford have gone through 3 managers in six weeks, soon to be onto their fourth, so no big deal if Deila gets his P45. The sooner we sort out this mess the better, or we might end up getting pumped out the Europa, losing the League + both Cups.

Arrogant and complacent to suggest that IMO. We are not guaranteed to win anything under Deila, and foolish to write off the Huns, especially if they get new investors.

I think we will get 70+ points, which will be enough to win the league. Fact is we are the only team in the league who can go and seriously strengthen in January. We have better players and better teams win marathons.

We are getting beat at times but over the course of the next 30 games we will win far more than we will lose or draw and therefore we will win the league because as Kilmarnock showed against United anyone can beat anyone.

The guy tried to change too much too quickly with the Qualifiers coming thick and fast. We pay for that mistake, but it's one that has happened, and me move on to the Europa - where we have started to show a bit of form, able to settle our team and get the points on the board. Qualification should be in the bag - I assume we will beat the Romanian mob twice, but never count your chickens eh.

He had to use mainly the same squad from last year in the start of the season - a squad that embarrassed us in the CL, so what did we really expect when he started tinkering with everything at the club - formation, tactics, player selection, coaching, training, diet, the lot.

This is a timely process, a new manager with vastly different methods to what we are used to in Scotland. Something we have all been crying out for, to help us in Europe.

Give the guy time to bring his team in - Denayer and Gueditti already look the part and Scepovic and Wakaso show promise. Tonev, hasn't shown much at all and Gordon, well he has saved our * a few times already.

Not many players left this window, come January I think you'll see a lot of players go - Ambrose, Stokes/Griffiths, Zaluska, Biton? Maybe even the likes of Tonev getting his loan cut short? Either way, it's what Deila will have seen as deadwood, free up space, wages and money to further bring in his team of players, where in the second half of the league I reckon we will see a much sharper, fitter, fluid team pushing us on in to the latter rounds of Europe.

Come back to this in Mid March and if we are still trailing, out of Europe and cups, then I'll start to question this guy. But until he has had the time to implement his vision, and develop his style of football, why chase the guy out?

We wanted a new approach, give it time.

I agree a new approach would have been welcome, but Ronny's thus far is less entertaining and less successful than the previous managers.

    Then give it time.
If a new way of playing was as simple and quick to acvhieve, every manager and club in the land would be doing it. It's a time and costly thing to do.

Pretty much, by Xmas we'll know. That's about the size of it, unless he has a complete meltdown and chucks it before then.

I hope he gets his * together before then, like right now.
