I often wonder who is approving the signing of these players, surely they must know that most of the players they sign are terrible

Plus with all those future stars how many actually make the grade? They've still got a very young team but simply it just needs some balls in defence, midfield, a bullying front man, and FFs a good gk.

The team needs to be revamped.

To much praise for Wiltshire and Walcott.

Wilshere is in danger of being the man with all the potential and never fulfils it, Walcott is garbage, he is over rated and isnt very good as a right winger or a striker, the first thing I'd do if I was Wenger is clear out the rubbish, a good 7 or 8 players and clear up money, The 2nd I'd do is sign Wanyama and then Higuain

SSN go way over the top with their coverage of EPL news, we knew for weeks Pellegrini was the next Man City manager

Wilshere needs to remain injury free for a season and play well. He get hyped up and praised a lot but hes never actually done much so far, he is decent on the ball and a good passer but hes not actually that good, he has no pace, and is neither a defensive or attacking player, cant recall him ever hitting a decent shot their.

For the star he is made out to be he doesnt look half the player of Thiago of Barcelona.

This. Also Ilkay Gundogan, he was sensational for Dortmund this season, Champions League especially. If he was English the pundits would be all over him. Wilshere is a good player no doubt, but he's nowhere near the likes of Thiago and Gundogan

Aye or Pogba or Isco or Draxler or Gotze or Kroos or Oscar or probably even Herrera or Holtby or Muniain. Then theres a lot of others like Strootman, Clasie, Van Ginkel, De Brunye, Rudy, Rode, Kovacic, Eriksen etc he's more in their class than the class of Thiago, Gundogan, Gotze, Pogba, Oscar and Isco. Keep remembering more guys lol

    the next Premier League season

So Jose is back at Chelsea, it's Moyes at United and Pellegrini at City. Where does AVBs Spurs and underachieving Arsenal fit in? Are Liverpool condemned to midtable?

And with this loaded question I say goodbye.

I would like to see Arsenal bring in a few quality players and have a real go for the league

I think Wilshere's and Walcott are both good players. It's Ramsey in midfield who's out of his depth and Metesacker at the back. They're really lacking a quality goalscorer since Van Persie left too. I'd say Carzola is their best player I think. Anyway, I want to see Arsneal win it next season just because I find them the most entertaining team to watch.

Wenger's most expensive signings have been -

Henry, Wiltord, Koscielny, Arteta, Vermaelen, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Nasri, Hleb, Arshavin, Mertesacker, Gervinho and Reyes.

They're the ones who cost at least 10 million.

I'd consider, on the whole, Gervinho, Reyes, Hleb and Arshavin to be flops. That's four out of the 12.

Vermaelen might not be good for them again, Nasri was inconsistent yet they got their money back.

Then you've got ones like Santos, Jeffers and Squillaci who weren't cheap. All managers make mistakes in the transfer window but I question whether Wenger has confidence in his own ability there.

They should just buy proven quality like Higuain.

I'd love to see them spend 60/70 million and make a real go of it. A four horse race for the title would be great to watch.

Ramsey started to play well near the end of the season, likewise Mertesacker when him and Koscielny (imo their 2nd best player) formed a great partnership at the back.

They need a gk, rb, back up cb, quality midfielder and a quality striker imo.

Begovic/Mignolet/Vorm, Joao Pereira, Rami/Samba, Gundogan, Higuain. That's what I would do.
