tbf it was a bit of a reckless challange, he just jumps right in and takes his ankle out, no where near the ball or any chance of getting it

Ferguson has called Newcastle a wee club. :56:

I hate Ferguson and Newcastle, so I'm just finding the whole situation quite hilarious.

"I was demonstrative but I was not out of order. The press have had a field day. The only person they have not spoken to is Barack Obama because he is busy. It is unfortunate but I am the manager of the most famous club in the world. Not Newcastle, a wee club in the north-east"

    that's a class put down:smiley-laughing002:

Pardew was doing the same, when he thought the Evans own goal was not given, so a bit rich of him to come out and say what he did, especially given his record of dealing with officials.

Fergie criticizing ANYONE for getting at referees? Seriously? :smiley-laughing002:

He's not wrong though when he calls Newcastle a "wee club". Delusions of grandeur doesn't even come close to describing them.

He's being extremely hypocritical for a change but the "wee club" remark certainly made me laugh.

If he was right it wouldn't be hilarious though would it? It's hilarious to you because it brings Newcastle fans down a peg or two, because of the perceived arrogance you believe their fans have.

The fact is Ferguson is a classless *. He went to Sir Bobby Robson's funeral the other year, saying no where in Britain has the passion for football that the North East has, and Newcastle deserve their "big club status" because of the fact they have 11 major trophies and have almost unrivalled support. Ironic he did that at SBR funeral, a man with a million times more class than he'll ever had. As the earlier poster said, typical hun. Imagine anyone with any dignity coming out with that.
