    He terrifies me sometimes, much moreso this season. Giving the ball away an awful lot, daft tackles etc. Its good to see us trying to play the ball out of defence rather than just horsing it up the park but sometimes the simple thing is the best option.

    He is so short of confidence that he cannot even complete a simple 10 yard pass, was * myself whenever the ball came anywhere near him tonight. He improved second half, but first half he was beyond dreadful

    It would make sense to bench Izzy for a few games and maybe get to him to do extra training sessions to get him back up to speed and condition. In the meantime I would put Ledley or Mulgrew in there at left back.

    Wasn't really his performance mate, was just so annoyed at that time when he let the ball bounce, was so lucky not to be punished for that. Overall I guess he was decent but he still does not fill me with confidence

    Am I the only one that thought he did show one or two glimpses of the Izzy of old tonight? Especialy in the opening stages, they tried to get beyond him down the left hand side a couple of times and failed at each attempt. He started drifting again after that though and I agree with those saying he was probably our worst performer tonight. Everyone else had a good game.

    Seems like a confidence thing to me, more than anything. Form is temporary, class is permanent. He'll come good again soon.
