its a bit hard to compare him to another player mate, but if i would have to describe him as a player i would tell you he is a Warrior with lots of heart, he fights every single ball no matter what minute of the game it is, he is the type of player any team wants to have he is like a powerful little enginge that doesnt stop has a great tackle but also a bit of the latin spice or skills, latin players are known for, if he plays midfield you will see him all over the pitch running all game long he has the Pumas UNAM seal :50:

I know nothing about him, must confess.

All reports so far are good though.

This coming from a America fan( the BIGGEST/BEST club in Mexico)lol all bullshit club fighting aside,Yall got a great player I would hate him when he would play against my club because of the skill going foward and the defending/tackling stopping play's..

Alway's liked Celtic since the first time I saw a video of Never walk alone was incredible ,Now I have a reason to watch them week in and week out..Good luck on the new campaign and will be following religiously..

This is very good news. I am sure for both the Celtics and Efrain.
As you might know Mexico is now entering its "Golden Generation" These is formed by the kids that won the 2005 Peru under-17 World Cup. Of that team many have heard a lot from Dos Santos and Vela. But Chucho Ramirez the team manager at the time always have said that the motor of that team was Efrain. And is very easy to see it that way. Pumas was the mexican champion a year ago and the same could be true from that team. Maybe other players are flashier or have more weight in the field, but Efrain is the one allowing the whole team to work.
As my other fellow Pumas fans in these thread have said it, Efrain is just what every team would like, he is always giving his 110% and running like crazy in every zone the team needs him to be, he is a very intelligent player and just notices where he is needed, always pushing the team to go forward and providing them with great talent and drive.
I might go out on a limb and say that this guy is going to be one of Mexico's biggest soccer stars, and that Celtics are a very important step in developing it.
Mark my words, Efrain is going to have the whole stadium chanting his name in the future.

I think he does. But what's more important, he is very fluent in the language of soccer.
