It would have been better to let them shoot, they had a 50/50 chance of scoring and with big FF anything could happen.
but to jump in and get sent off is * crazy and if i was ronny i would be telling all my players never jump in like that.
Only time i would accept this is when there is only a few mins to go.
Efe needs to never ever play for us in europe again,we need to score goals not give them away.

he keeps the guy in play for their first goal, gets nudged by someone half his weight and falls like a * for the second then that horrible wrong sided wrong footed rushed challenge. One big * piping hot humble pie is what he needs

should have stayed on his feet ,* idiotic decision but mulgrew was to blame for every single goal and the two penaltys if you are looking to pin the blame for that result on someone

Aye Mulgrews head was up his *, looked like he didn't give a *. Unacceptable from someone who captains the team he grew up supporting but I just don't think ambrose in mentally sane.

Id blame ambrose for the second goal thats it for the red card the blame lies with mulgrew even though ambrose should have done better

I thought Ambrose did alright on the 2nd goal. He out-muscled his man. It was VVD strolling around not tucking in for their scorer that I'd blame, or Lustig getting out-muscled at the back post.

cant really blame someone for slipping , mulgrew fannying about allowing that cross to come in in the first place ,lustig turning his back and jumping at fresh air, ambrose slipping and van dijk not tracking his man nobody really covered themselves with glory for the second goal mulgrew had to stop the ball coming in initally

I thought he and Mulgrew were the two worst players on the park last night.

Ambrose should have dealt with the ball into the box(for the 2nd goal) and for me he is too blame for conceding it. I hope he has played his last game for us as i have, for a long time, thought he was * useless and always has a few dodgy moments of his own making in every game.

Totally agree. He is * useless. He was our worst player last night and to top it off got sent off. Wouldn't lose any sleep if he * off now.

It was a stupid Challenge but you know what it was also the 3rd time in 40 minutes that Mulgrew had made a slack pass back, Forster dealt with the first one and Ambrose another. Even with the mistakes he made he wasn't even the worst defensive player, Lustig was useless and VVD is still not at 100%, you have to remember we are still basically in pre-season

Efe is a great great football player, hense why he is attracting such interest. He is an automatic pick for Nigeria who are certainly no mugs. We bought him for 600k for * sake and he is ever improving, now worth millions. He will come back from this stronger than before. Mulgrew was quite clearly to blame for the other night not Efe. Yes it was stupid challenge, he dived in and that * the team but name me one defender who has never mistimed a tackle ?

Efe has played for basically 2 years without a break... Israel, 2 SPFL's, an African nations and a world cup. He must be * and needs a rest ! Remember what Lustiq was like after 1 full season when he arrived ? He should of been rested after the African nations and probably should be being rested now after the world cup.

I think Efe will prove a lot of the haters wrong here. A lot of people have short memories...part of a defensive unit that broke a 43 year old shut out record last season. When have we ever been that consistent and strong defensively in Scotland ? Bar Mjalby, Stubbs or Rieper when have we ever had such composure at the back ? ...eh never ! It was a pleasure to watch and one of the few highlights last season. The two of them are the best defensive duo we have had in my years. The SPFL might be pish but it has always had dross in it that was capable of scoring against us, even under O'Neil so it was no mean feat.

Do we all remember the UEFA cup final ? I seem to remember Balde making a similarly reckless challenge and not receiving anywhere near this level of pelters when that game was of 10 times more importance than the other night.

I suppose it depends whether you like a no nonsense brick * house of a hoofer like Balde or a cultured player like Ambrose. I personally prefer the latter as it's the modern way. Efe does give you a flutter but that is his style, he will improve defensively with coaching, he is still young for a CB (25) regardless of how old he looks. Balde on the other hand could never have been coached to be that good on the deck. Btw I was a big Bobo fan.

I for one am right behind Efe as will be the manager and his team mates who see how good he is in training every day.

Aye Tebily was indeed, a true bombscare, highly volatile material.

Also, I do prefer the brick shithouse option. Consistency is everything.

Yea Efe is a fantastic athlete and no doubt a role model to how you should conduct yourself as a professional fottballer.
But you shouldnt get nervous watching one of our Centre backs more or less everytime he gets the ball. Especially when he has too much time on it.
He seems more accomplished at RB for Nigeria but i would like to keep my eyes open sometimes when he recieves a pass.
If he could sort this "lack of good decision making" he would be a fine player.

There wasnt anyone (maybe Forster apart) that could say they performed the other night but for me, Efe was as culpable as any of them.
Get with it big man !!:celt_2:

I'm one of Efe's biggest fans but even I can't deny his last two games have been woeful.
