    Pace is literally all he has. He needs it for the amount of times he is running back towards his own goal.

    It is true that at one point there was potential for a decent player there but if we want to move on as a side he has to go.

    We need better.

    Whether he stays or goes ,he gave his all for Celtic in the last 4 years.
    Often that wasn't good enough,especially in the big games ,and even though he cost me few years of my life, with his calamitous defending , there were definitely some moments when he looked accomplished .
    Despite everything, he still was part of that team that beat Barcelona , and he does have 4 league titles to his name,among other accolades .No denying he has a decent CV.

    Efe is a good guy ,but time has come to say goodbye to the good guys that contribute little or nothing for the team.That processes started with Deila , and its bound to continue with Ambrose.

    I would perhaps ,rejoice even more if got rid of those ''very talented'' ones ,who offered nothing for years now,the likes of James Forrest .

    Bayer Leverkusen have said they aren't interested in signing Efe Ambrose and they are "bewildered" with the reports coming from Scottish media linking them with him.

    Scottish Premier League champions Celtic and star defender Efe Ambrose are not on the same page on speculations linking the 27 year old with a move to Bayern Leverkusen.

    Ambrose is thought to be high up on the summer wanted list of the Bundesliga side who are readying a bid of around £1.5m for the defender who has just a year left on his current deal with Celtic.

    The Nigerian is reportedly keen to hear from Bayern Leverkusen but Celtic according to reports will be reluctant to part with Ambrose without someone coming in to replace him immediately with their Champions League qualifiers set to begin next week.
