It just shows how the little * was looking for it as when he got up there was a little wry smile - like hahahahahaha got it !! Ref is a disgrace - I watched it on ITV London and Kenny Dalglish and Andy Townsend were appalled by his dive - they must have shown it 15 times and each time they wereslating him, saying the ref was in the wrong position and the little * should be banned for 3 CL games - he wouldnt do it again if he missed 3 important CL games as Wenger would crucify him.

First of all, I am disappointed for what Eduardo did, but, this goes to ref. Eduardo remained on the ground, he clearly didn't turn and asked for penalty like Gilardino, but shame he took the ball to the spot. Too bad, it's the first time I see him doing something like this, he was always known as a great and honest lad ...

he cheated us, don't know what the ref saw but anyone who watches football can tell boruc got out his way. After that it was game over, arsenal's other goals were well worked, i don't mind being beat by a good footballing side fair & square but he tricked the ref. He should be embarrassed by his actions, especially since they had the upper hand at 2-0agg at the time.

Eduardo's a cheating * and that's it. Uefa should look at it and ban the little *. This is why football needs video evidence so we can stop things like this happening in big games where theres a lot at stake.

Its about time that UEFA/FIFA start to use video evidence to hammer cheating!

The technology is there, why is it not used to root out the cheats???

Ok, the outcome of a game cannot be changed. But if the club and player were punished it would soon put an end to the blatant diving and conning of the referee. The ref can make mistakes, I accept that, but players should behave in a more professional way and help out the ref.

I would suggest to FIFA/UEFA that a fine of £100,000 and an instant 3 match ban on ANY player found guilty of cheating in any way. NAME AND SHAME THE CLUB AND PLAYER.If the same player or club are found guilty again at any time then the fine and ban are increased.

If this is carried out by the authorities then the cheating and conning of refs would dwindle and the players would behave in a more honest way.

To finish, I was sick of listening to that wee * walker last night!!! He stated that cheating is all part of the modern game and that basically its acceptable to do so......

I would be disgusted if any celtic player behaved in the way that wee * did last night or that big lanky streak laugherty did against the sheep last season.

Mr.Wenger himself said it wasn't a penalty.

Just sticking up for him because he's Croatian. Nothing more, nothing less. If Arsenal had a Scottish player and it was him who took the dive I'd be tearing him to pieces.

 

Celtic midfielder Massimo Donati feels that Arsenal striker Eduardo should be banned for diving in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.
Eduardo appeared to throw himself to the ground to win a penalty in the Gunners' 3-1 second-leg win at Emirates Stadium.
Donati believes Eduardo should be treated the same way as Lithuania striker Saulius Mikoliunas, who earned a spot-kick against Scotland at Hampden Park in September 2007.
Video evidence was used by Uefa to punish Mikoliunas, who was given a two-match ban.
"If it is clear on TV then Uefa must act against Eduardo and ban him," said Donati, who has been linked with a move to Bari.
"I think he should get a two-match ban because it wasn't a penalty. I told him that and everyone in the Celtic team told him that."

So...this is hard...I like him(Eduardo), but what he did yesterday was really bad. He should apologize to Boruc, Celtic and all Celtic fans. I always cheer for Celtic, especially when playing English teams and I was really sad yesterday that a player from our NT did that to Celtic. Even if he did not fell wittingly, but he surely did, he should have said to the reff that it was not a penalty. When I saw him taking the ball for the penalty, I was hoping that he wants to take it and miss it, but he didn't...there is no excuse for what he did last night, but, nevertheless, I want to express my sincere apologizes to all of you. I hope that this incident will not destroy some good relationships that we developed in last few years.

 

You don't need to apologize in his name, mate. He dived last night and many of our fans are right to complain. Arshavin fell when penalty was a warded against Portsmouth, but he immediately went to both referees to say it wasn't a penalty. Noble and honest act. Unlike Eduardo.

Therefore he should apprectiate being able to play football even more so and not blatently cheat like that! It's embarassing! Fabregas done it all night at Celtic Park, why do great players have to cheat!!!

 

It's not the point mate. We were trying not to concede a goal and maybe nick one or two later and Arsenal being awarded a penalty that never was changed the game completely and the heads went down after that. You don't know what could have happened had we kept it 0-0 at half time, Arsenal could have got frustrated and we could have nicked a goal and made it nervy for them. But now we'll never know because of that cheating wee * Eduardo. He should be banned!!!
