Really like him. Think he has been unfortunate with the lack of chances he has got but he has impressed me hugely when he has played.

Forget he is still only 20 as well. Hugely talented player for his age and will only get better.

Hopefully we will see him in the team more between now and the end of the season.

Need to see more of him.. would have expected a £3m+ player to have featured a lot more.. if he had been Scottish he would have been written off by now.

Still young and has looked useful just need to see more of him.

I don't see why we can't play him i the holding role and allow Brown to play box to box. I suspect he's here to take over that role but Brown has been in the form of his life, which has restricted any opportunities for Eboue.

I think Rodgers said as much a while back, Brown's form is the only thing keeping him from getting more games. I think some of us maybe expected Brown to start winding down a bit now, from the nature of injuries he's had and his style of play, but he just keeps on going, and now that he's properly retired from international football and will get proper rests during the season it's hard to say when Kouassi will get his chance, which is a shame, hope he doesn't start to want away for lack of games, from the little we've seen there's real potential there.

Brown shouldn't be playing every game though. It's very concerning how much we rely on him. At 32 we should look to conserve him a bit more despite his obvious high levels of fitness.

    Feel sorry for Eboue tbh.

I think we'd see a stark difference in the team on matchday, if Broony was absent. Can't blame Rodgers for not dropping a pivotal player.

What i don't understand is how the guy canny even get the last 20-30 mins, in games where we are comfortable. :43:

We’re definitely going to end up losing him. He’s far too good to be not getting a chance with us and I predict in the next 2 years we’ll have neither him nor Brown.

I think that was the plan but BR didn’t realise quite how much we fall with Broony not there.

He rested him to play Kouassi and Ntcham a few games and we looked lost I’m sure

Admittedly it wont be easy to adjust to but the only way guys like that will get used to Brown not playing is..well by him not playing.:56:

Likes of Kouassi and Ntcham will need games together in order to form partnerships. That has the potential to be a very good one.

I think we all know how much we miss Broon when he isn't there. But it might have to be a case of sticking with so other partnerships can be tested at times.

If we can't beat bottom 6 sides regularly for instance without him, with 2 players at CM who supposedly cost close to £8m-9 combined, I'm worried.

I can see us offering £3m/£4m and Kouassi on loan to Hibs in the summer for McGinn tbh.

Did you mean to add McGinn there?

We can't seem to get into a position to be comfortable at the moment . We should have loaned him out to another Premiership team but I don't think BR thought his game time would be so restricted in the latter half of the season.

I’d rather play Kouassi than buy McGinn. Just think his ceiling is higher.

I'd take both tbh, though I think Kouassi has more potential the flip side of that is he would be more likely to be a big money move to england, there's always exceptions either way, but I feel that a scottish player will be more likely to commit long term and not have his heard turned as easily than a foreigner, playing for celtic in a pants league just doesn't hold as much appeal to an outsider.

But they can’t both play. McGinn signs and Kouassi probably disappears into oblivion, wasting the potential. If you don’t think McGinn wants a prem move then you’re wrong. That’s all they want now, he’s never going to be a Celtic man like Brown ended up being.
