Looks to be a tremendous prospect. Apparently the coaching staff are delighted with him and think he is better than they hoped or imagined

    He's only 19.

He will fill out within the next few years and even then he might just be naturally built like that. Which isn't a problem at all.

Just because he appears thin on the surface doesn't mean he doesn't have the aggression and strength for that area of the park.

It can take players years to fully develop their physique. It could turn out to be the case that if he bulks out too much it might take away from his game rather than add to it.

You don't want to lose speed and agility for the sake of bulking.

N'Golo Kante has proved size does not matter.

He looks to be an athletic type plus he will fill out naturally same way KT has.

Once our boy who transformed Gareth Bale and Ronaldo gets a good 6 months with him we will be sorted.

Looking forward to seeing the defensive side of his game. So far he seems to be playing like Bitton on speed. If he can shield the defence as well, we're on to a winner.

You could argue that KT has returned quicker due to clearly bulking up and maximising his physique/athleticism behind the scene's..

It all depends for me. It isn't crucial to everyone but can be helpful in the modern game. Kante is a good example of not needing it as he's tenacious enough without having to be a brute. Even up top guy's like Crouch and even our own Sutton, I can't mind ever being bullied, despite quite lanky, skinny-ish frame's....more so Crouch obviously..

I'm not too fussed as he's young and had been pointed out, will naturally develop..

Looking forward to him taking off now..

Looks a good prospect, considering the game he started he was in there with McGregor and Bitton who also don't start every single game, be good to see him alongside Brown and/or Armstrong. Got a good, quick football brain as people have already mentioned and also seems to be quite vocal and an organiser on the park aswell, always pointing and talking to his team mates, bodes well already at such a young age.

I agree if there is a reason for specific strength increases. Sometimes you get players who just want to bulk and they then lose any pace they had.

It's still possible to be strong and appear slight. These tall guys still have big muscles they just aren't as prominent as they're stretched over longer bones, but the mass is still high enough to be strong. They're athletes at the end of the day, I'm sure the lad will be hitting the gym plenty.

Loves to pass the ball forward, very impressive start. Hope he gets a few more games till the end of the season. Can't wait to see him next to Brown.

DESPITE a limited command of the English language, in words and demeanour, Eboue Kouassi’s growing confidence and contentment as a Celtic player is palpable.

Only 19 and thrust into an alien environment, the highly-rated Ivory Coast youngster was always going to require a period of adjustment following his January move from FC Krasnodar. It didn’t help that he also lagged behind his new team-mates in terms of fitness levels due to the winter shutdown in Russian football.

Gradually, however, he has started to become accustomed to life on the pitch with the six-in-a-row champions, making one start and three substitute appearances to help Brendan Rodgers’ side extend their unbeaten domestic run since the start of the season to 40 matches.

And as he sat down with the View at Lennoxtown for the first time since the completion of his transfer, Kouassi revealed that he is now ready to step forward in the Hoops and challenge for a starting slot.

“I’m settling in well and I’m happy because now I have played some games and had some more time on the pitch,” he said. “Initially it was difficult, but now I feel better and more comfortable playing in the team.

“There is not a big difference between Scottish and Russian football as both are physical and fast. At the start I had a lot of time to watch and I remember one of my first games away to Dundee when I came on and it was a bit catastrophic! But I learned from that and now I feel a lot better.

“I feel ready to start games. I have worked for this but it all depends on the gaffer and I will wait until he gives me my chance and then I will play.”
