Dylan McGeouch

He needs to leave if he's want to play central

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Dylan is best deployed in CM right?

I don't see enough of him to know where his best position is to be honest, but I know that he never seems to perform when playing RM.

 

He wont make it as a winger as he's not got the pace to get up and down. And he cant make it as a centre mid or attacking mid if he never gets a game there. If you were comparing his style of play to other players youd say Riquelme, Iniesta, Osman, Cazorla, Deco etc imagine them playing on the right of midfield.

 

Exactly he needs to leave Celtic for his own benefit tbh

 

Should have loaned him out

 

I think we will in January

 

Loaning out Dylan and keeping Watt here would have made more sense.

 

Never got the hype about him

 

Becuase you have probably only seen him in 1st team when he's never been played in his proper position

 

I'd have them both loaned out.

 

Pains me today it but dot think young Dylan will be here long..


As been pointed out many times he will never play for us in his natural position..


Good player that has stuttered through niggly injuries and being played in strange alien positions..

He can't be near match fit hasn't played in ages plus he's playing out of position.. He still looked a threat.. Biton got kept on and he is very defensive

 

Definitely should have been loaned out ages ago. Our youth team of 2011/2012 had so much potential but we * probably all of them up.

Irvine and McGregor have gone on loan to * clubs, Twardzik, Atajic, Fraser, Herron & McGeouch have been left to rot, and Watt randomly went out on loan to Belgium despite being the only kid since Forrest to actually feature prominently in the 1st team.

The youngsters played brilliant football in the first series of the nextgen and many of them should have been fast-tracked through into the senior set up or been immediately loaned out, instead they've all wasted away.

 

How often have you seen him in his preferred position, out of interest?

 

The 3 worst players tonight easily were rogic boregtor and biton

 

Surely to get the best out of this type of player you've got to invest some faith in him and give him a run of games.

Obviously got the talent but if you only ever give him the last 15 or so of a game and expect him to a world beater your sadly deluded.

 

Its incredibly frustrating to see him wasted out wide in what little game time he gets. Lennon seems reluctant to play anyone other than Commons in the hole which is a shame because Commons isn't good enough to play at the Champions league level and if we don't give Mcgeouch or Rogic time in that position we will never see the best of them, or see if they could be good enough to play in that position in the champions league. When McGeouch plays he is wasted out wide and the only times I've seen Rogic he has been deployed deep in the midfield which I don't believe is his natural role either.

 

Seen him a few times. One that stands out most was v man city at Celtic park and he ran them ragged.

Also he stays ( stayed ) along street from me growing up so always new of the hype about him from his Hun days aswell.

Centre mid.

 

Biton was all right. Rogic and McGeouch were stand out pish for me the night.
