I hope Celtic's managerial staff are a tad more patient than the TalkCeltic board, anyway!

he's no Forrest but he has decent pace. I didn't think he looked slow at all against st. Mirren, he bridged his man at the start of the move and you need decent pace to pull that off.

he'll look better with a more attacking fullback behind him. Last night davidson was following him all the way up the field and wilson was never overlapping him to ease the pressure so he passed the ball right away many times because he had a defender right on his back when recieving it. If lustig or matthews were playing there and making runs up the field it would clear some space for him just like izzy makes space for commons over on the left hand side.

I agree with this. If McGeough had an overlapping full back like Lustig or Matthews we would have seen him at his electric best.

Dylan is the new face of our central midfield next year, of that I have no doubt, and for once we will have a central midfielder who will run at opposing central defenders with impunity.

Done a couple nice flicks/skills but didn't get the ball enough today to really do anything.

He's pleasing on the eye but I fear we've got another McGeady type here. Hopefully his finishing is better however.

why would you fear that we have another mcgeady type, mcgeady was absolutely sensational for us and moved on for 10m pounds. If mcgeough could get to that level i would be very pleased.

I really think he can reach that level. He's a fantastic player and he's got plenty of time, he's only 19.

*. I hope we've not gone and found ourselves another quality, international attacking midfielder who will one day be worth £10 million.

McGeady was anything but sensational. I could pick the big games he played well in in one hand.

The money as you say was obviously worth the frustration of his end product and poor finishing.
